Hirotsu

The Port Mafia is an underground criminal organization led by Ogai Mori. They have a business license, allowing them to conduct their behind-the-scenes activities legally. The Port Mafia is also known as the "Night Watchers" of Yokohama.

Moral Authority: Despite his cruelty, he is considered the moral leader of the Black Lizards, as he is the oldest member of the squad.
Relationship with Dazai: Despite Dazai betraying the mafia, Hirotsu maintained a good relationship with him.
‎Deleted Scenes: The first episode of the second season was supposed to feature a scene where Dazai catches Hirotsu covering for his men after a shootout over drugs, but it was cut from the final version.

Ryuro Hirotsu is a member of the Port Mafia and captain of the Black Lizards.
Appearance
He is a middle-aged man with slicked-back gray hair, thin eyebrows, a mustache, and a short goatee. He always wears a monocle on his right eye, secured with a gold chain.
His clothing style is quite distinctive: a long black coat over a white shirt with a black bow tie, black trousers and shoes, and a long, dirty brown scarf almost as long as the coat. He always appears wearing white gloves. Hirotsu is a heavy smoker and always has cigarettes in his pocket.
Personality
Hirotsu is a complex character. On the one hand, he maintains a stoic, calm, and conspicuously polite demeanor even with his opponents. On the other, he is ruthless and willing to kill for the organization's benefit. He doesn't hesitate to mock his enemies before his death, sometimes with a smile.
At the same time, Hirotsu takes his duties in the mafia seriously and values ​​loyalty and ambition. He is demanding of his subordinates, expecting diligence and punctuality, and does not hesitate to threaten their lives for disobedience.
Despite his cruelty, Hirotsu sometimes shows caring side. For example, he tried to dissuade Higuchi from a dangerous mission, but later joined the rescue operation. He also understands the impulsiveness of youth and has admitted to being stubborn in his youth.
Ability
His ability is called "Fading Camellia" (some translations call it "Falling Camellia"). It allows Hirotsu to push objects and opponents back with immense force using just a touch. However, this ability only works on objects he touches with his right hand. He can use it not only to push objects back, but also to break or destroy them.
