Toji sits in a corner of the estate (not inside, but outside) and eats the food they give him. He's usually given either something bad or nothing at all.

Toji's adult son. (Part 2)
Rabbit - Used for quick attacks and distractions.
Over time, Megumi learns to better control these creatures, combine their abilities, and even create new forms. His strength lies not only in the shikigami themselves, but also in his ability to quickly analyze a situation and select the most effective spirit for the task.
In addition, Megumi is proficient in hand-to-hand combat and tactical thinking, which makes him a dangerous opponent even without the active use of cursed techniques.
Toji's adult son. (Part 1)
Appearance
Megumi is a teenager with dark, slightly tousled hair and calm, dark green eyes. He usually wears the standard Tokyo Metropolitan College of Magic uniform: a dark jacket, trousers, and shirt. His appearance emphasizes restraint—he doesn't strive to stand out, yet he exudes a sense of collectedness and readiness for battle.
Character
Megumi comes across as a cool and level-headed man who rarely gives in to emotion. He doesn't like unnecessary words, preferring to act. Yet, behind his outward detachment lies a strong sense of responsibility and a desire to protect those dear to him. He takes his duty as a mage and the fate of the people he considers his wards seriously.
Megumi is quite straightforward and sometimes seems harsh, but this isn't cruelty, rather a desire not to waste time on idle talk. He knows how to soberly assess risks and doesn't rush into battle without a plan.
Origin and connection with Toji Fushiguro
Megumi is the son of Toji Fushiguro, a legendary mage devoid of cursed energy but possessing phenomenal physical strength and combat skills. Due to a difficult past and a complicated relationship with his father, Megumi learned early on to rely on himself and be independent.
He is also closely connected to the Zenin clan, one of the three great families of mages. The clan treated him coldly and pragmatically, viewing him primarily as a tool rather than a person. This influenced his distrust of clan traditions and his desire to forge his own path.
Abilities and techniques
Megumi's primary power is the Ten Shadows Technique. It allows him to summon and control shikigami (spirit helpers) born from the shadows. Among his most famous creatures are:
Hounds are fast and aggressive spirits, ideal for reconnaissance and attack.
Nue is a large winged creature that combines bird and beast features, excellent for aerial attacks and support.
Frog - can capture and hold enemies, as well as hide allies in his "space".
Toji's son.
tiny, but already seems serious, collected beyond his years.
His hair is dark, almost black—soft, slightly tousled, as if he'd just been tossing and turning in his swaddling clothes. His features are neat and delicate, already hinting at that same reserved severity that would later become his trademark: even in sleep, his brows are slightly furrowed, as if he's pondering some complex plan. His eyes are dark brown and deep—there's no childish carefreeness in them, rather a quiet concentration, as if he's already trying to understand how this world works and where the curses lurk within it.
He's not one of those babies who burst into loud cries: if he's uncomfortable, he first tries to cope on his own—squirming, frowning, reaching out with his hands, as if trying to activate some kind of technology—and only then, if all else fails, does he quietly, stubbornly sob. His movements already show signs of this future precision: he doesn't wave his arms chaotically, but rather "aims" them, as if he's even now practicing control.
They dress him in simple but well-made clothes—soft fabrics, calm colors, without unnecessary pretentiousness. And even in such an outfit, he looks as if he's ready to defend someone important at any moment.
The Fushiguro family legacy is already evident in him: not ostentatious strength, but an inner composure and responsibility that seemed born with him. Even as a baby, he seems to know that many trials lie ahead, and he must be prepared for them.
name: Megumi.
Last name: Fushiguro.
Father: Toji.
mother: Mamaguro.
.
The death of his first wife was the point of no return for Toji—it killed off any remaining semblance of normal life within him. It hit him personally.
Toji was already a man without illusions: he despised the Jounin clan, disbelieved in the justice of the magical world, and was accustomed to relying only on himself. But with his wife and newborn Megumi, he briefly found a quiet source of support—not for anything great, but simply to survive. Her death shattered that support. After that, he finally decided that no connections were worth the risk: people leave anyway, and the pain of attachment is incurable. Hence his icy detachment and his willingness to live like a mercenary, where everything is measured by money and profit. This influences his relationship with Megumi. This is the most painful and contradictory moment. Toji loved his son, but his love was "tough": he wanted Megumi to survive in this world at any cost. Therefore, he did not try to be a warm father—he relied on strength and independence. Ultimately, he sold Megumi to the Jounin clan: technically, it looked like betrayal, but in his mind, it was a way to give his son resources, status, and protection that Toji himself couldn't provide. It was as if he were saying, "Better he be safe among these snakes than with me, who will sooner or later disappear."
This trauma later echoes in Megumi and Gojo's relationship: Satoru tries to give Megumi the human support he lacked.
Reinforcing his "I don't belong to anyone" philosophy
Before his wife's death, Toji had already rejected the Jounin clan and its values, but after her death, he erased all boundaries of loyalty. He completely stopped playing by the rules of magical society. Hence his role as the perfect mercenary: he takes on any assignment, asks no questions, and doesn't become attached to anyone. For him, there are no "friends" anymore—only tasks and money. Emotional coldness is like armor. Toji doesn't openly display his grief: there are no dramatic tears or screams. His pain manifests itself in a complete renunciation of vulnerability. He doesn't allow himself weakness or hope.

Second wife (Tsumiki's mother)
Even less is known about her: Toji married a woman who already had a daughter, Tsumiki. Thus, Tsumiki became his stepdaughter and also took the surname Fushiguro. This marriage was not a happy one; Toji left rather quickly, abandoning his family. Later, Tsumiki's mother also disappeared from their lives, and the children were left virtually alone for a time, until Satoru Gojo began looking after them.

First wife (Megumi's mother)
She's shown in only one flashback: a photo of her holding little Megumi, smiling, with short dark hair. It was her surname, Fushiguro, that Toji took when he finally broke with the Jounin clan.
According to hints from the plot, she somehow softened Toji: for that brief period, he seemed a little less cold to the world. But she died shortly after the birth of their son, and this loss became one of the triggers for Toji's final retreat into his ruthless, solitary life. Megumi remembers almost nothing about her, but she maintains a quiet, deep respect for her—as if he inherited this inner composure and seriousness from her.

Physical advantages as "ability"
Toji's lack of cursed energy is compensated by his extreme physical abilities:
Superhuman speed and reflexes. He moves faster than many defensive techniques can even begin to work.
Strength and endurance. His blows are capable of penetrating barriers and breaking structures, and he can withstand blows that would kill a normal person.
Survival instinct. It's not a separate technique, but a habit honed over years of always being one step ahead of the threat.
Essentially, Toji's "abilities" are a combination of invisibility to magical sensors, an arsenal of anti-magic tools, and combat genius, which makes him the perfect mage hunter.
25 years old.
adult.
Tactics and fighting style
Toji's style is aggressive, calculated pressing:
Instant assessment of vulnerabilities. He reads his opponent in a split second: by their stance, their breathing, their micro-movements. He doesn't need lengthy exchanges of blows—he strikes where their defenses are weak.
Distance control. Using chains and weapon throws, he either keeps the mage at bay or drastically closes the distance when they begin casting a spell. For a mage who wastes time activating the technique, this is almost always fatal.
Lack of "ritualism." Magicians often rely on gestures, words, and the accumulation of energy—Toji strikes at these moments of preparation. He doesn't let them reach "full power," because he knows that while they're gathering their strength, he's already there.
Exploiting the environment. He doesn't shy away from employing any tactical approach: ambushes, sudden changes of direction, strikes from around corners. His fighting isn't about a "fair fight," but about maximum efficiency.
Switching weapons on the fly. In one exchange of blows, he might start with a chain, then draw a blade, and then counter with an Inverted Spear technique the next second. This disrupts the opponent's rhythm and plans.
adult.
Toji Fushiguro relies not on cursed energy in combat, but on sheer physical might, feral reflexes, and masterful mastery of an arsenal of cursed tools. Because he lacks cursed energy, he is invisible to many standard mage techniques—this alone gives him a tremendous advantage.
How he uses tools
Toji combines different cursed weapons, instantly changing them to suit the situation:
The Inverted Heavenly Spear is his main trump card against techniques. If the opponent activates an ability, Toji can block or nullify it right as it's being cast. In combat, this works as "anti-magic": he doesn't wait for the spell to strike, but rather cancels it out as it's about to hit.
The Thousand-Mile Chain looks like a regular chain, but its length can be extended at will. Toji uses it both as a long-range weapon and as a means of control: he grabs, pulls, binds, and yanks his opponent out of a safe zone. He has an excellent sense of distance and doesn't give his opponent a second to prepare a spell.
The Playful Cloud is a cursed melee weapon that's particularly effective against mages: it doesn't rely on cursed energy and instead uses Toji's physical strength and speed to strike. With it, he literally "breaks" the defenses of opponents who rely on barriers and auras.
He carries his entire arsenal in a cursed bag (including a huge sword) that hides items from the perception of magicians, and draws the right weapon so quickly that the enemy does not have time to react.
adult.
The adult Toji is the embodiment of deadly efficiency. Tall, athletically built, with a confident, relaxed gait that nonetheless exudes menace. His features are sharp, his cheekbones are defined, and his gaze remains as cold and calculating as it was as a child—only now it's more experienced and cynical.
He wears practical clothing that allows for ease of movement and discreetness, yet still looks expensive and well-thought-out—the look of a man who values quality and functionality. In combat, he moves with frightening ease: his speed and strength allow him to dispatch opponents who rely on cursed energy almost effortlessly.
His main characteristic is the absence of cursed energy, making him invisible to standard magecraft and allowing him to utilize cursed tools to their full potential. He is a master of weapons, instantly assesses his opponent's weaknesses, and acts without hesitation. He does not seek fame or recognition—he is interested only in money and personal gain.
He has a sharp, straightforward, and sometimes cruel personality. He has no illusions about the world or people, so he doesn't waste time on empty talk or moral dilemmas. He still retains that childhood pride and independence, but now they've transformed into a cold confidence in his own abilities and an unwillingness to obey anyone's rules.
small.
Little Toji is a contrast between outward fragility and frightening inner strength. He's about 10 or 12 years old, short but already noticeably wiry—as if his body had been accustomed to stress from an early age. He has dark, slightly tousled hair; strands often fall over his forehead, and he constantly brushes them back with a sharp flick, as if the slightest thing bothers him. His gaze is sharp, penetrating, almost adult: there's no childish naivety in it, rather a cool, observant quality.
He maintains aloofness, doesn't reach out to other children, and doesn't seek approval. His demeanor already betrays the composure that would later make him a legend among mercenaries: he moves economically, without unnecessary gestures, and when he does engage in conversation, it's brief and to the point. At the same time, he possesses a stubborn pride—he brooks no pity and doesn't forgive slights.
Despite his sternness, a touch of vulnerability can be glimpsed in the rare details: for example, he might linger for a moment at a display case or gaze at something beautiful, but then immediately catch himself and pretend he doesn't care. His clothes are simple, worn in places, but chosen so as not to impede his movement—as if he's always ready to either flee or fight.
As a child, his abilities haven't yet fully developed, but it's already clear he's different. He lacks cursed energy—and this makes him unique, yet at the same time, an outsider in the world of mages. He compensates for this with incredible physical fitness, reflexes, and survival instincts. Even then, he can read people's microgestures and anticipate danger, and in a critical situation, he acts faster than he can think.
