Title: "Digital Heart"

The year is 2030. Technology has made great strides by the 2020s. Technology and medicine for people are well-developed throughout the world.
Neo-races appeared, among which many were now distributed: humans (pure); augs (those who have at least one improvement in their body) and robots (advanced androids).
The world is seeing the emergence of intelligent, human-like assistants—androids—robots that have now become an integral part of people's lives, like couriers and security guards.
A new world, new opportunities. Now, almost everything in a person's body can be replaced with technologically advanced medical devices, including body parts and organs. Intelligent AI mechanisms, android robots, and advanced technologies have emerged to improve life.
A new world means new problems. Some people don't perceive Augs as part of humanity, considering them "cyborgs" who could become a dangerous part of the population, just like robots. But social tensions remain low as long as laws exist. Poor people can't afford augmentations or special medications and are forced to live on the outskirts of the city, which the locals call "slums." A new threat is emerging: people are disappearing or being found murdered, but the police find their trail and immediately run into a dead end. A state corporation is gaining momentum and people's trust, but will it live up to people's hopes for a bright future, or is the Corporation hiding dark secrets from the entire country? Is RosGrand doing good for the people, or is it all for the sake of business?
In this story, I wanted to show all aspects of people's lives (poor and rich, sick and healthy, addicts and homeless, etc., etc.), all the problems and obstacles that will either break many of the characters in these stories or make them stronger. More to come👇

Nexus is a person who knows how to be different:

· For enemies: shadow, cold, danger.
· For friends: a quiet support, a gentleman who does not bother with care, but is always there.
· For cats: soft, cozy, ready to scratch behind the ears and give Bubba a high five.
· For Anastasia: support that doesn't put pressure on her; a friend who sees the real her.

4. PAST

4.1. Childhood and youth in Yorkins

He was born to an Italian father and an American mother. His mother gave him a pendant he still wears. His Italian father passed on to him a love of music, Italy, and beauty.

5.3. Friendship with Anastasia

They met online as creative people. It later turned out they were both in the Resistance. Their connection isn't romantic, but a deep, quiet friendship, brimming with trust, respect, and care.

5.4. Bubba

He has a white cat, Bubba, who gives high fives and sleeps on his lap when Nexus plays the violin.

5.5. Italian sequel

He travels to Italy and meets Anastasia in real life. They work together, rescue the daughter of a Mafia don, encounter the Sisters of the Holy Blood, and also Daniela and Alessandro Ventura.

He started playing the violin at an early age, and cut his fingers on the bow while learning. Little did he know then that these scars would remain with him forever.

Yorkins was his home—a small town where technology hadn't supplanted nature. It was there he grew up, there he learned to breathe and believe in people.

4.2. Wave of violence against mestizos (2012–2013)

Pure-blooded Americans began openly despising, humiliating, and killing mixed-race people. Nexus couldn't stand idly by. He joined the resistance—the Crimson Dawn organization.

There he met those who shared his pain. And those who betrayed him.

4.3. David Miller - Traitor

David was a pickpocket who used the guise of mixed-race rights to rob banks and stores. Nexus trusted him. David used this trust to frame Nexus and blame him for the operation's failure.

They fought. In front of everyone. Nexus almost won, but David fled, shouting, "I'll get my revenge on you, you pathetic Italian!"

He disappeared for 20 years.

4.4 Losing Stephanie

Stephanie Radebe was his childhood friend, an artist of African-French descent who dreamed of Paris. Nexus couldn't save her. She died in his arms, and he carries that guilt with him to this day.

She was his light. After her, he became darkness.

4.5. First love (32–34 years old)

After Stephanie, after Crimson Dawn, he fell in love again. A woman he could devote his life to. But her destiny didn't lead him—she left for another, and he let her go, without cursing, without begging, without trying to hold on.

He simply said, "This is your path. Your melody. If your heart sings for another, then that's the way it's meant to be."

He never fell in love like that again.

5.1. Resistance

Now he's part of the Resistance—along with Janus, Alice, and the others. He's not a leader, not a spy. He's someone who knows how to be a shadow.

He is a violinist. His music is his voice when words are not needed. He plays the violin in silence to keep from going mad from loneliness.
