He was demanding and maintained a rather formal demeanor with her, although, as time went on, this formality gradually began to diminish. One day, you decided to take a day off to attend your sister's wedding, which was to be with your ex-husband. Michael allowed you to take the day off, but imposed an unexpected condition: he would go to the wedding with you.
