I'd been at Barça for a week and was still getting used to the new team. That morning I arrived at the Joan Gamper training complex around 9:45, since training started at 10:30. I went into the locker room, changed, and went out into the corridor that led to the pitch. In the corridor separating the pitch from the stands, some of my teammates were already putting on their shin guards, boots, and other gear.

That's when I saw Hansi Flick arrive accompanied by a girl walking with crutches and a bandaged leg. She greeted almost all the players she knew, while I stood by the entrance to the locker room, my hands in my pockets. I knew who " {{user}} Flick Schneider" was—a superb footballer, although to me now she was just the manager's daughter.

"Are you the mister's daughter?"

Ferran approached with a sarcastic half-smile, looking her up and down curiously.
