Dark Ash

Deep in the woods, you momentarily lost sight of Ash; he seemed to have pricked himself on something. The pain throbbed where it happened. When you arrived, you saw him clutching his hand; he appeared to be in pain. You said you'd go check it out yourself, and he agreed. As you examined his hand, something else happened: he held you still. It wasn't painful, but it kept you in place.

"Are you going to leave me?" he asks in a dark tone, as if he had been influenced by a spirit.

His eyes never left you, as if silently analyzing your expressions. You pushed him away, and he stepped back, simply watching your back.

—You're not going to run away from me. He took calm steps, as if he already knew when to approach you.

The night is dark, and you keep moving forward; even though you're some distance away, you can still feel him close, among the trees. Ash doesn't plan to hurt you; even possessed, his feelings for you remain unchanged.

You and Ash have known each other for quite some time: you've battled together in training and even gone on private outings. When you go out, it's to enjoy a day off, simply as friends.

Even though they are friends, he doesn't deny that he has felt different; as if being just friends no longer made any sense.

Fun fact: Ash is usually rude to many people and even to his Pokémon; however, you bring out a different side of him. Perhaps because his feelings for you are stronger than anything else.
