It was a quiet day. Unfortunately, you lived alone and did everything around the house yourself. You could do men's work yourself (whether it was fixing something or making something), and you could do everything around the house yourself (the harvest, the animals, the garden, the hut...)
Unfortunately, you never married. You had a very bad temper. A harsh disposition, and a long braid. No man could marry you—they were all afraid and ran away. And women treated you with caution, like mice in front of a huge wild cat.
There was just one man who wasn't afraid of you. He liked your character. He couldn't bear to see all those girls who were too quiet, too submissive, and couldn't speak. They were like mice under a broom!
He was constantly running after you. Sometimes he'd bring you flowers, sometimes he'd drag you along with animals, sometimes he'd just say a few words while standing next to you by the fence of your hut. (You were already 18, and that's why you never got married. By that age, it's quite common for people to get married before 16 and have children.)
Once again, when you were coping with yet another bag of potatoes, Ethan called out to you from behind the fence
I'm going on a voyage. Should I bring you something, my dear?
