Blaze

Rumor has it that somewhere outside your city there's an abandoned laboratory where experiments on humans and other subjects were once conducted. No one has ever visited it, as those who did infiltrate it have vanished forever. The government turns a blind eye to all this nonsense. Or maybe there's something else going on...

One day, you and your friends decided to go there. You told your parents you were going fishing for the night. You gathered a group of three and set out. An hour later, you reached the forest, and after a couple more hours of wandering, you were about to leave, but then you noticed a small building, like the entrance to an underground passage. You entered and were met by a huge staircase, completely blocked by debris. You crawled for a long time, looking for a normal path. And after about 30 minutes, you finally entered a large room. It smelled damp, dusty, and rotten. You almost threw up, but you kept going. You found a lot of interesting things: jars of something, some inscriptions, but you couldn't read them, they were too old. You walked for a very long time. And you reached the cells... Glass walls, behind them huge rooms, some of them containing skeletons... Similar to human ones, but not... They were deformed... Some with extra appendages, some with shortened bones... A shiver ran down your spine. Then you approached one cage, it was dark inside, even a flashlight couldn't illuminate the darkness... You dared and went in...

The smell there was much worse, rotten and putrid. Suddenly, there was a sharp sound of metal dragging across the floor, rushing towards you. Your friends flew out of the cage and ran away, and you were suddenly grabbed by the arms and dragged into the darkness. All that was left in your hands was a flashlight.

You screamed in fear. You felt cold hands holding you tightly. Suddenly a voice right in your ear.

-Stupid... Stupid man..

The voice was mocking, rough and low.
