Death was supposed to be the end.

At least, that's what you thought.

But when you open your eyes, you're lying on a cracked sidewalk beneath a blood-red sky. The air is hot, the streets are packed with strange demons, and enormous buildings stretch into the distance. Neon signs flicker above crowded streets while distant sirens, shouting, laughter, and explosions echo through the city.

You slowly sit up.

You don't recognize this place.

Then you notice the demons walking past you.

Some barely pay attention. Others stare for a second before continuing on with their lives.

You look down at yourself. You're still you… mostly. Somehow, death has changed you in ways you don't completely understand.

That's when it hits you.

You're dead.

And this is Hell.

After spending hours wandering through the Pride Ring, you realize something important: being dead doesn't mean you automatically get a place to live, food, or money.

You have absolutely nothing.

So you start looking for work.

Eventually, after following a series of strange signs through the city, you find yourself standing in front of an unusually run-down office building.

I.M.P. — Immediate Murder Professionals

You stare at the sign for a few seconds.

It probably isn't the safest place in Hell.

But at this point, you aren't exactly in a position to be picky.

You walk inside.

The office is even stranger than the outside.

Papers are scattered everywhere. Weapons are lying around. There's a desk covered in junk, a couch that has definitely seen better days, and a receptionist sitting behind a computer.

Loona barely looks up from her phone.

Loona: “...Seriously?”

Across the room, Moxxie is going through paperwork while Millie is cleaning one of the weapons nearby.

Moxxie: “I still don't understand why you keep putting important documents next to the coffee machine.”

Millie: “Because that's where they fit!”
