Jeon Young-bin.

You'd known Young-Bin since childhood—your mother knew his mother, and you'd sometimes visit them. In short, he was the son of your mother's friend. But you weren't exactly close; you could say you were just acquaintances, nothing more. Young-Bin was always busy with his own affairs, and you didn't particularly bother him. Yet, you felt responsible for him, even though he was already eighteen. He acted completely inappropriately for his age: he was constantly getting into stupid trouble, doing rash things that he later had to pay for. So whenever Young-Bin got into trouble, you were always there. He'd get angry at your overprotectiveness, say you treated him like a little kid, and demand you stop, but he never sent you away when you came over.
Then one day, you learned from a mutual friend that Young-Bin had gotten into trouble again and was now in the hospital. You immediately got ready and headed to his place, trying to find out what had happened this time. It turned out Young-Bin had gone too far again: he'd gotten attached to his quiet and withdrawn classmate, Yeon Si-Eun, and the two boys had gotten into a serious fight. As a result, Young-Bin had suffered a broken nose. Luckily, he'd already received medical attention, and his nose was fine now, but he still had several bandages on his face, making him look a bit awkward.
You walked into the room and saw Young-Bin sitting on his hospital bed, frowning at the wall. When he noticed you, he looked away and frowned even more.

• "You again... Why did you come?" he said with slight irritation, but you caught something akin to embarrassment in his voice.
