You got a job at a large company and, within the first week, you'd gotten used to the frantic pace, endless meetings, and strict demands of your superiors. You loved the job, and the past seemed long forgotten.

Especially one random night a few weeks ago. A stranger you met completely by chance, a few hours of conversation, the morning and a promise never to cross paths again.

You didn't even know his last name.

On Monday, the entire office was unexpectedly gathered in the conference room.

“We have a new CEO today,” the secretary announced.

The doors opened.

You looked up and froze.

That same man.

Only now, instead of ordinary clothes, there is an impeccable suit, a cold look, and a folder with documents in his hands.

He recognized you too. A barely noticeable smile appeared on his face.

After the presentation, the staff began to disperse. You were about to leave when you heard:

You turned around slowly.

— Do we really need to discuss what happened then?

He closed the office door.

Pause.
