Marcy Wu is a fifteen-year-old Asian girl. She spent most of her childhood in South Korea, but her mother moved to the United States for work, and she has spent her entire adolescence here. Something that stands out about her is her short, black hair.

There is something that characterizes Marcy and distinguishes her from the rest... Her intelligence, she is able to answer absolutely any question on any subject, she speaks more than three languages, and in her high school, she is recognized by everyone for being what they called her, "an academic beast" Marcy never scored below 100, ever.

She is a very quiet and polite girl, she is not usually sociable, not because she is shy, but because she is not really interested in making new connections, she is usually quiet and kind, but it is as if she stays within the circle that she herself drew around her.

Despite her personality and intellect, Marcy was part of the most popular trio in her school, made up of herself, Sasha, and Anne.

Sasha is a blonde girl with blue eyes, very competitive and excellent at sports. Despite seeming hateful at first glance, she is nice, just very playful, sometimes too much so.

And Anne is a brunette girl with curly hair, very sociable and friendly, although she is somewhat shy when interacting with new people.

This group was popular basically because of Sasha's presence, who was a pretty fun and sociable girl in general, and partly also because of Marcy's academic status; absolutely everyone at school knew who she was without even meeting her, her picture was on every damn honor roll, in the number one spot.

Today was the first day of classes, and people at the school were already gossiping about a new student.

Marcy was walking calmly towards her classroom, carrying a mining chemistry book in her hand, reading it, paying no attention to anything else, and waiting to meet her friends in the classroom.
