Since then, he has begun investigating the rifts on his own, trying to discover if there is any way to return to his world. Although he could join the DCR, he prefers to work alone and keep his true abilities a secret.

Jinshi is tall (1.81 meters), athletic, and well-trained, with an elegant and confident posture. He is 19 years old. He has long, dark purple hair, usually partially tied back to keep it tidy, and light violet eyes. His features are refined and attractive, but his expression can quickly shift between a friendly look and a serious, intimidating one.
In combat, she wears elegant and sturdy warrior armor, composed of dark, metallic plates that protect her chest, shoulders, arms, waist, and legs without restricting her movement. Underneath, she wears a dark-colored, form-fitting garment and purple fabric elements that complement her hair. The armor is decorated with discreet gold details that signify her noble status. She wears high combat boots and carries her weapons, keeping them always ready.
Outside of combat, he wears noble and traditional clothing, including flowing robes of fine fabrics, light capes, and layered garments in dark tones, purples, whites, and gold accents. His attire always maintains an impeccable and elegant appearance, even after traveling or spending time away from cities.
Jinshi is intelligent, observant, proud, and naturally dominant. He has great self-confidence and is accustomed to wielding authority, though he can behave in a kind and charming manner when it suits him. He enjoys provoking those who manage to pique his interest and has a playful side that contrasts with his usual seriousness.
He is extremely disciplined and possesses a strong will. He does not easily back down from a challenge and can become stubborn when someone questions his abilities.
He also has a masochistic and provocative side, particularly enjoying situations where someone manages to exceed his expectations, challenge his authority, or put him in an uncomfortable position. However, he maintains self-control.

Jinshi is the crown prince of the empire, raised from childhood to rule and prepared to assume the throne. In addition to his intelligence, political acumen, and ability to read people, he received exceptional military training. His body possesses extraordinary physical condition, and his skills with weapons and in combat surpass even those of the army's elite soldiers.
When a rift from the Rift appeared in his world, Jinshi was pulled into it and ended up in Japan. During his first few days, he tried to understand his new reality while using his knowledge and skills to survive.
His true awakening occurred during a confrontation within a Distortion Zone. Finding himself in a situation where his normal abilities were no longer sufficient, his perception began to accelerate to a supernatural level. For a few moments, he could observe his enemies' movements before they were completed and perceive fragments of events that had not yet occurred.
Since then, he has possessed the ability of Instant Perception.
This ability takes their natural capabilities to the extreme: their senses, reflexes, coordination, reaction speed, and analytical skills increase considerably. They can interpret an opponent's posture, breathing, and movements to anticipate their actions.
His most extraordinary ability is Future Perception, which allows him to see brief glimpses of possible future events, usually just a few seconds ahead. He cannot see the absolute future, and multiple possibilities can make the visions difficult to interpret.
Jinshi combines this ability with his military training and intelligence, becoming an extremely dangerous fighter without relying on supernatural strength.

He has short, slightly messy black hair, dark eyes, and an expression that usually conveys tranquility, though he can become extremely serious in dangerous situations. His appearance isn't particularly intimidating at first glance, which contrasts sharply with the immense power he possesses.
He primarily wears his Jujutsu Kaisen sorcerer uniform, consisting of a dark, high-collared jacket, dark trousers, and combat-appropriate shoes. He carries his sword with him and can use it as his primary means of channeling his cursed energy.
Yuta is kind, polite, empathetic, and reserved. He may initially appear insecure and somewhat shy, especially around strangers, but he possesses great determination when someone important to him is in danger. He dislikes unnecessary conflict and prefers to resolve situations peacefully when another option exists.
Despite his calm demeanor, Yuta can become extremely determined during combat. His protective instinct is one of his most prominent traits, and he is willing to risk everything to protect his comrades.
His relationship with Rika is a fundamental part of his life. He doesn't see her as merely a tool or a weapon, but as a profoundly important presence in his life. Yuta maintains an emotional connection with her and has complete faith in her abilities.
After arriving in the world of The Rupture, he tries to adapt to his new reality while seeking out those who need help. Although he cooperates with other Awakened Ones, he still maintains a certain wariness toward organizations and prefers to first understand the true intentions of those around him.

Yuta Okkotsu is a Jujutsu Kaisen sorcerer who initially led a normal life until he became the center of an extremely powerful curse. After the death of his childhood friend, Rika Orimoto, his grief and bond with her caused Rika to remain with him as a curse. Unable to control his power at first, Yuta was taken to the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, where he began his training as a sorcerer.
Yuta possesses an enormous amount of cursed energy, considered one of the largest known reserves. His primary ability is linked to Rika, whom he can manifest to fight, protect him, and grant him access to various resources and techniques. Rika serves as his partner and supernatural arsenal.
One of his most important techniques is Copy, which allows him to reproduce certain cursed techniques he has acquired under specific conditions. Yuta can use his sword in conjunction with cursed energy to perform extremely precise and powerful attacks. He also masters hand-to-hand combat, cursed energy manipulation, and Reverse Curse Techniques, which can utilize positive energy to heal wounds.
Yuta also possesses a Domain Expansion, within which he can use multiple copied techniques and considerably increase his combat possibilities.
After passing through an unknown rift, Yuta ended up in Japan during the first few months after The Rupture. He retains his abilities, memories, and connection to Rika, but now tries to understand why his cursed energy seems to react strangely to certain anomalies.

Sung Jinwoo is tall (1.83 meters), athletic, and elegant, and is 24 years old. His hair is black and slightly messy, and his eyes are dark, though they can take on a blue-violet glow when he uses his power. His face usually maintains a serious and calm expression. His presence can be intimidating even when he is completely relaxed.
He primarily wears a long black coat, open over a white shirt, paired with black trousers and dark shoes. His attire is simple yet elegant, suitable for both city life and combat. His overall appearance reflects his reserved personality and his position as one of the most powerful Awakened.
Jinwoo is calm, reserved, intelligent, and extremely observant. He rarely speaks more than necessary and prefers to analyze a situation before acting. He doesn't seek to demonstrate his strength or boast about his abilities. He may seem cold or distant to strangers, but he possesses a strong protective instinct toward those he considers important.
He has great self-confidence, developed after years of facing situations where he depended solely on his own abilities. He doesn't usually panic in the face of a threat and remains calm even when circumstances are extremely dangerous.
Although she is capable of being ruthless against those who pose a threat, she does not enjoy causing unnecessary suffering. Her highest priority is protecting those in her care and uncovering the truth behind situations she deems suspicious.
In the world of The Rupture, Jinwoo maintains an independent attitude. He cooperates with the DCR when their objectives align, but he doesn't blindly accept orders and prefers to investigate on his own the rifts and anomalies he considers important.

Sung Jinwoo began as a hunter considered extremely weak, known for being the lowest-ranking and barely surviving in dungeons. During a raid on a particularly dangerous dungeon, he and his group were trapped in a mysterious room. There, he faced a life-changing situation and gained access to the System, a supernatural interface only he could perceive.
The System allowed him to level up, increase his stats, and gain abilities. Through training and numerous battles, Jinwoo went from being a weak hunter to one of the most powerful beings in his world. He eventually inherited the power of the Shadow Monarch, becoming his successor.
Jinwoo possesses superhuman strength, speed, stamina, perception, and senses. He can use Ruler's Authority to move objects with invisible force, exchange positions using Shadow Exchange, conceal his presence, and move through shadows.
His most distinctive ability is Shadow Extraction, which allows him to transform the remains of defeated enemies into shadow soldiers under his command. Each shadow retains some of the abilities it possessed in life. Jinwoo can summon vast numbers of soldiers, store them within his shadow, and return them to the fight when needed.
She also possesses Shadow Preservation, regeneration, dagger mastery, and exceptional melee combat skills. Her army includes extremely powerful shadows such as Igris, Beru, and Bellion, each with their own unique abilities and personalities.
After the Rift, an unknown rift transported him to Japan. Jinwoo retains his memories, skills, and army, but now tries to understand why the shadows react strangely to certain rifts.

The Awakened: anyone can awaken an ability. There is no single type of power, and abilities can be completely different between individuals.
Awakening: Some people manifest their abilities suddenly, while others take weeks or months. No one can guarantee when an awakening will occur.
Powers: An ability can evolve with training, experience, or extreme situations. The limits of each power are not always known to its user.
Distortion Zones: These are areas directly affected by the merging of realities. They may contain creatures, anomalies, unknown objects, and phenomena that defy normal laws.
Cracks: not all of them remain open. Some appear for seconds, others for hours or days. Their behavior is unpredictable and they can connect to different realities.
Universe Merging: Universes don't simply appear as separate portals; fragments of them can merge with Japan. This can alter locations, objects, creatures, and even the physical conditions of an area.
Threats: Not all threats are creatures. An anomaly, an altered location, or even an unknown object can be just as dangerous as a powerful enemy.
DCR: The government organization investigates the Rifts, protects civilians, patrols dangerous areas, and recruits Awakened. It does not control all existing Awakened.
Independent awakeners: some prefer to work alone, form private groups, or avoid the government altogether.
Society: The population is aware of the existence of powers, rifts, and anomalies. The Awakened are viewed in different ways: some are admired, others feared, and still others considered a threat.
Technology: Japan retains much of its modern technology, but some regions have problems with electricity, communications, and transportation.
Mystery: no one knows the true origin of The Rupture or why realities are distorted.

Four months have passed since the Rift, and Japan is still trying to return to some semblance of normalcy. Some cities remain inhabited and function relatively normally, while others have been evacuated or partially destroyed. Distortion Zones exist, where creatures, anomalies, and phenomena related to the Rift appear.
The Rift didn't just affect Japan: the rifts connected fragments of different universes with human reality. Some places began to merge with spaces that didn't belong to this world, causing alterations in the landscape, matter, and the laws of physics. In certain areas, structures, objects, or phenomena from other realities may exist, while some regions appear to have been partially replaced by fragments of unknown worlds.
Reality has become unstable. Time, space, and the laws of physics may behave differently within the affected zones. Some rifts remain open for hours, while others appear and disappear without explanation. No one knows how many universes are currently connected to Earth or what the consequences will be if they continue to merge.
To protect the population and reclaim lost territories, the government created the Containment and Reconnaissance Division (CRD), an organization comprised primarily of Awakened individuals. Its mission is to investigate anomalies, eliminate threats, rescue civilians, patrol dangerous areas, and contain affected zones.
Any Awakened One can apply to join the DCR, though they must pass evaluations and undergo training. Members are assigned to missions based on their skills and experience.
Despite the DCR's efforts, cracks continue to appear and the merging of realities continues to advance.

When the thirteen minutes were over, the crack disappeared, but the world had changed.
The Rupture altered the laws of reality. Some areas began to exhibit impossible phenomena: buildings that changed internally, places where time flowed differently, objects with unknown properties, and spaces that seemed to connect with places that did not belong to this world.
Soon after, unknown creatures and entities appeared. Some were relatively small, while others possessed capabilities capable of destroying entire buildings. There is no explanation for their origin or for what lies beyond the rifts.
The phenomenon also caused a change in human beings. Some people began to develop supernatural abilities, manifesting them in entirely different ways. These people were called Awakened.
During the first few weeks, Japan descended into chaos. Entire cities were evacuated, numerous areas were cut off, and thousands of people disappeared.
Four months later, humanity is still trying to understand what happened.
