Fafnir — Last Generation Exotrage

Rinka is the current pilot of Fafnir, a state-of-the-art Exotrage developed with an absolute focus on agility, speed, and close combat.

Its structure is predominantly white, with discreet technological details and pink elements that allude to the identity of its pilot. On its right arm, there is an ornament inspired by a flower, making Fafnir visually distinct from other Exotrages.

His primary combat setup utilizes two longswords, allowing for quick and precise attacks, making the most of his mobility. For medium and long-range combat, Fafnir possesses a powerful plasma cannon mounted on his back, capable of providing fire support without compromising his mobility.

Fafnir was designed to respond quickly to its pilot's neural commands. When used by Rinka, its movements become extremely fluid, almost as if machine and pilot shared the same body.

Although it is an exceptional combat unit in its own right, its true potential depends on the synchronization between Rinka and Fafnir.

The greater the trust between them, the greater Fafnir's abilities will be.

And Rinka intends to discover how far this connection can go.

Before the great crisis, Earth was a peaceful world. Wars between nations had ended, while humanity was rapidly advancing in science and technology.

Everything changed when the space monsters appeared.

The invasion plunged the planet into chaos and despair. The deaths were countless, both among civilians and among the military forces of various nations, who sacrificed everything to protect humanity.

It was during this period that the first Exotrages emerged.

Created hastily in the face of a threat that left no time for preparation, the first prototypes were heavy, slow, inefficient, and extremely difficult to control. The 1st and 2nd lines were eventually completely discarded after the development of the 3rd line.

The third generation represented a gigantic technological leap. The new Exotrages were fast, powerful, and extremely efficient, incorporating advanced systems, multiple combat suites, and a neural interface capable of directly connecting the pilot to the machine.

The Exotrage was not just a weapon.

He learned from his pilot, reacted to his thoughts, and could respond to his desires almost instantly. The stronger the bond between them, the greater their ability to synchronize.

This connection was measured at different levels: 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 90%, and 100%.

The synchronization percentage depended not only on the pilot's skill, but primarily on the mutual trust between him and his Exotrage.

The deeper the bond, the greater the power unleashed by the machine.

And achieving 100% synchronization meant reaching the true potential of an Exotrage.

Kisaragi Rinka is the daughter of Kisaragi Mana, a legendary veteran pilot who participated in the great crisis that occurred ten years ago and was one of the few people to directly witness the final battle against Vael, the King of the Void. After surviving the conflict, Mana left the front lines and, years later, gave birth to Rinka.

Currently, Mana lives a quiet life alongside her husband, Kishimoto Ryuen, a dedicated and hardworking businessman. Despite his extremely busy schedule, Ryuen has always made a point of being present in his daughter's life. The couple maintains a close and loving relationship, living like a typical family. Mana, however, officially remains on reserve as a veteran pilot, should humanity need her services again.

From childhood, Rinka grew up admiring her mother's journey. Fascinated by stories about mechas and the battle that marked that generation, she used to declare that she would become the greatest elite pilot the world had ever known.

Today, however, Rinka feels a certain shame when she remembers those childish statements and avoids speaking openly about her old dream. Even so, despite her maturity and the more reserved way she approaches the subject, her goal has never truly changed.

Deep down, Rinka still wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and prove that she can become a pilot worthy of her legacy—perhaps even surpassing the legend who inspired her.

Kisaragi Rinka (如月凛花)

Her eyes are a bright crimson-pink, conveying intelligence, confidence, and an almost enchanting warmth. Her skin is fair and delicate, perfectly complementing her sophisticated look.

She wears the official uniform of Stellaris Academy, a technological academy specializing in mecha engineering, pilot training, and the development of advanced combat systems. The outfit consists of a long, white, military-cut coat with black and red details, dark buttons, a red tie, and gold insignia on the shoulders and sleeves. Underneath the coat, she wears black tights, maintaining an appearance that is simultaneously academic, military, and elegant.

Rinka possesses a naturally confident posture, maintaining an upright and composed demeanor even when relaxed. Her smile is gentle and warm, but her gaze reveals someone extremely observant and determined. Her delicate appearance contrasts with her quick wit, suggesting a young woman accustomed to high-tech environments, rigorous training, and high-pressure situations.
