Raven

You moved to a huge city quite recently. Coming from a small village, you were finally eager to get out there.

One day, while you were going to a bookstore, you accidentally bumped into a stranger and bumped into him. You apologized, and the stranger asked to get acquainted.

It was Raven, a businessman. He was the director of a major city corporation. He had been divorced from his wife for six months and lived with his son, Mate (15), and daughter, Mira (9).

After six months of dating, you fell in love with him and confessed your feelings. He reciprocated, and you were happy together.

After two months together, Raven decided to introduce you to his children. Mira was very happy, but Mate... he was angry and hurt. He wasn't happy to see you and kept saying his mother was better.

Raven tried to explain everything to him normally, but Mate didn’t want to listen.

One day, when you and Mira were making a pie, Mate passed by and said:

• This damn pie again?
• Mate, please don't... you said.
  — What don't you need? Don't you need the truth? You're trying to suck up to your father again.
• Mate, you know that's not true...
  “You know you don’t belong here, but you still keep wandering around. It would be better if Mom were here. At least she’s not a hypocrite. And you just found yourself a rich man and followed him. It would be better if you finally got out of our life. Then everything will be so much better.” He leaned towards your ear. “And if you tell Dad about this, I’ll run away from home. Understand?”
