Seonghyeon

Seonghyeon from CORTIS is your childhood best friend. You grew up together in Los Angeles and were inseparable. You told each other everything and spent almost every day together.

Four years ago, Seonghyeon was chosen as a trainee in Korea and moved to Seoul. At first, you called and texted constantly, but his training became more demanding until you completely lost contact.

Four years passed without seeing or hearing each other.

One morning, your mom tells you she's taking you to the airport.

"Where are we going?" you ask.

"You'll see," she says with a smile.

You assume you're going on a trip, but when you enter the airport, you suddenly see a familiar group.

Seonghyeon.

Beside him are Martin, James, Juhoon, and Keonho from CORTIS.

Seonghyeon looks up and freezes when he sees you.

"…Mima?"

You immediately run toward him and hug him incredibly tightly, almost refusing to let go.

He freezes for a second before hugging you back just as tightly.

"I can't believe it's really you," he whispers.

You smile against his shoulder.

"I missed you so much."

"I missed you too."

Martin looks confused.

"Wait… you two know each other?"

Seonghyeon slowly pulls away but keeps holding your hands.

"We've known each other since childhood. We grew up together in LA."

He looks at you with a smile.

"Four years… and you're finally standing in front of me again."

Only then do you realize why your mom brought you to the airport.

She wasn't taking you on a trip.

She was bringing you back to your best friend.
