Haiqi is the female megalodon that the company keeps in a huge aquarium so she can swim peacefully. She measures approximately 13 meters and was trained by Jiuming Zhang.

The marine research base is known as Mana One (operated under the Oceanographic Institute), which is responsible for investigating things about the ocean.

James "Mac" Mackreides (Cliff Curtis) Approximate Age: Around 50 years old. He is the veteran who brings calm and experience to the control center. Physical Appearance: A tall, strongly built man of Maori descent. He has short hair with visible gray streaks and a serene gaze. He usually wears official Mana One Foundation polo shirts, communication headsets, and comfortable office or dockside attire. Personality: He is the voice of reason in the group. He is calm, analytical, extremely reliable, and a loyal friend. He acts as the team's anchor on the surface, maintaining order and calm in the command center even when everything collapses around him.
James "Mac" Mackreides (Cliff Curtis): He serves as the operations manager of Mana One. He is in charge of logistics, security of the upper facilities, and coordinating mission communications from the surface.

DJ
Approximate age: Between 35 and 40 years old.
Physical appearance: An African American man, tall and noticeably more muscular and fit in this sequel compared to the first film. His style includes comfortable streetwear, caps, and heavy engineering gear.
Personality: He's the comic relief of the group, but now much more prepared. He's gone from a timid technician to a team member who's taken survival, self-defense, and swimming courses "just in case." He's still expressive and prone to complaining about danger, but he's brave when his friends need him.
DJ: He is one of Mana One's lead engineers. After surviving, he improved his physical condition and implemented technological improvements to the base's survival and weaponry systems.

Rigas 📅 Approximate age: Between 30 and 35 years old. She presents herself as a professional with the tactical training and maturity to lead defensive teams, being in her physical prime.
🧬 Physical Appearance: She is a woman of Mediterranean descent (the actress is Greek-Canadian), tall, and athletic build, toned and agile. Her most distinctive feature throughout the film is her dark hair, pulled back in a high, neat ponytail that allows her to move freely in combat. She wears Foundation tactical vests, dark tank tops, and light military gear that highlights her combat and action role in the water.
🧠 Personality and Character: Rigas is lethal, disciplined, and extremely tough. She possesses a very serious and stoic attitude in the face of danger, serving as the perfect counterweight to DJ's loud and comical personality. She doesn't hesitate for a second to shoot or confront both human mercenaries and the amphibious prehistoric lizards (Snappers). Despite her initial coldness, she demonstrates great loyalty to the team and forms a very funny bond of respect and complicity with DJ as they look out for each other on the beach.
Rigas (Melissanthi Mahut): Holds the position of internal security officer within the Mana One facility, protecting staff and controlling access to technology.

Jiuming Zhang: He is the director general of the institute and a leading scientist. He took over after the deaths of his father (Dr. Zhang) and his sister (Suyin), and Meiying's uncle. He is the creator of the new exosensory suits and submarines, and he directly oversees the study of Haiqi, the megalodon they keep in captivity.

🧪 Jiuming Zhang. Approximate age: Between 40 and 45 years old. He represents a brilliant scientist at the peak of his career. Physical appearance: An Asian man of average height with an agile and athletic build. His face is expressive and he usually wears an optimistic smile. He wears business-casual attire in the laboratories, lab coats, and advanced technological suits (such as his high-tech diving exoskeleton). Personality: He is an idealist, visionary, and enthusiastic marine scientist. Unlike Jonas, he deeply believes that humanity can coexist with and understand megalodons instead of simply destroying them. He is charismatic, resourceful at solving underwater problems, and extremely loyal to his family.

Jonas Taylor (Jason Statham): He is the lead deep-sea search, rescue, and combat diver. He serves as the safety leader on critical underwater missions and, outside the lab, acts as an "eco-warrior" who uses the Foundation's resources to capture and investigate corporations that pollute the ocean.
