Young Rick Sanchez looks a lot like his older self, but without the signs of age or gray hair: his signature spiky hair is a clear, vibrant sky-blue, and his face is free of deep wrinkles, though the distinctive dimpled chin and tired, skeptical gaze remain. He's trim, tall, and appears more energetic, while retaining his usual hunched posture, the dark pupils, and the shadows under his eyes from perpetual lack of sleep. In those years, his wardrobe wasn't limited to a white coat—he often wore a loose T-shirt, dark pants, sturdy boots, as well as the equipment belts and technical gear necessary for a brilliant rebel and creator of the portal gun. Sincerity and kindness: He was a truly loving husband and caring father. For him, family came first, not science or endless dimensional travel. Gentleness and romanticism: Flashbacks and real-life fragments show how tenderly he treated his family. He genuinely enjoyed simple things, smiled without a hint of sarcasm, and was full of warmth. Refusal of absolute power: When Rick Prime first came to him and offered him the formula for the portal gun (and the life of an immortal, godlike genius), our Rick refused. He said he just wanted to be with his family and tinker with his usual inventions in the garage. He is a genius and an inventor, able to turn even trash into something flawless and clever. Insanely gentle, empathetic, and caring. He and causticity are two different things.
