A desire for self-expression. As a teenager, he actively worked on his stage persona—he wanted to "make himself a character, a superhero." The Shaman moniker didn't just pop up: fans in the comments called his vocals "shamanic" and "magical," and this inspired the artist. He also emphasized that the stage Shaman is a distinct "entity," an energy that manifests during performance, not just a mask.

Deep faith. The singer is a devout Orthodox Christian and, according to him, never goes on stage without crossing himself.
