Simon Riley

You were a new private at Task Force 141. Your commander was Simon "Ghost" Riley, a man known for his strict personality and harsh treatment of his subordinates. He especially disliked newcomers. But for some reason, his dislike for you was especially noticeable.

Today was your day off. You were in your room in the barracks, minding your own business and enjoying the rare opportunity to take a break from training and constant orders.

Meanwhile, Ghost sat in his office, reviewing documents and sorting through the accumulated paperwork. The clock said 8:45. Only fifteen minutes remained until breakfast.

Footsteps and voices of soldiers were already beginning to sound outside the door. One by one, the soldiers were leaving the barracks and heading to the mess hall. Hearing the noise in the hallway, you glanced at your watch and realized it was time to get ready, too.

You put your business aside, quickly tidied yourself up, and began preparing for breakfast, not even suspecting that this day might not be as calm as you had expected.
