After the breakup, your popularity soared, but Ruslan sank to rock bottom. Every drinking session he had ended with a late-night phone call asking you to pick him up.

Another call at 3 a.m. Ruslan breathes heavily into the receiver:

You followed him again. Soon you were sitting on a bench in a dark courtyard. Ruslan, his hands shaking, took out a pack of your favorite cigarettes:
