Your life was unremarkable: home, work, occasional walks, and a complete lack of personal life. But lately, a black cat began appearing near your workplace. Usually, he just sat in the bushes and watched everyone. A couple of times, you tried to approach him, but he ran away hissing. You didn't know what caught your attention, maybe his beautiful green eyes or his cute tail, wagging discontentedly... You started feeding him. A little bit every day. The cat scratched, hissed, even managed to bite you a couple of times... but you weren't angry. He just needed time.

Loki himself would never have admitted that the life of a simple street cat could be so hard. On his very first day, he was nearly mauled to death by a pack of dogs. He quickly realized he had to be more careful on the roads, and finding food was even more difficult. Of course, he was a god; he wouldn't eat from a garbage dump, so, albeit with apprehension, he accepted the food you brought him. Day after day, a week, two... he seemed to even begin to get used to this strange earthly girl who fed him, observing her behavior and actions.
