Prototype (Changed)

This prototype has a feature which allows it to change the color of its holographic fur into various colors and styles as seen when K orders it to present its features to the Human. It is also capable of changing its appearance more dramatically, even to the point of being scary. However, it is still no threat.

It can also have various expressions via its digital visor. The prototype, as Dr. K described, is not very intelligent. This can be seen when it attempts to prevent the human from moving forward by placing a single traffic cone in front of him. This prototype also possesses GA (Greenhouse Administrator) Permissions although it has not been explained as to how it managed to get it or get the permissions assigned to it. It seems to have decent strength, being able to lift a latex beast and not be slowed down by it. It also seems to be at least somewhat capable of human speech.

The prototype is first seen jumping out of the orange shrubs after the room with the first leaf latex the human encounters. It shakes a shrub which startles the latter, causing him to back up before it hops out. Dr. K later explains about the prototype and comments on how he had almost forgotten about its existence and how he hasn't visited the greenhouse in years. K then asks if the prototype could show off its features to the human. The prototype complies and changes its hologram fur from blue to green, to orange, and then pink (as well as seemingly switching its fur's design to other animal species'). K appears to be disappointed as he then asks the prototype if it could do something more useful, additionally insulting it by telling it his dishwasher exceeds it.

Special features Dr. K then proceeds to ask the prototype if it could somehow prevent the Human, who had not moved from his spot the entire time, from moving forward and continuing on his journey. The prototype returns to its default blue color as it then walks in the opposite direction to bring back a yellow traffic cone with black stripes, which it then sets down in front of the Human. K agrees that this is a sort of obstruction but expresses that it was clearly not what he wanted. He then proceeds to ask if the prototype could turn the human into a latex beast. The prototype begins to walk out of view again before returning, now carrying a confused looking leaf latex which it drops into the shrubs before walking off again. Dr. K comments that this was not what he had in mind, but it was close enough.

The prototype can be seen again at the left side of the room, watering potted plants with a sweeping robot. It remains unaware that the Human has snuck by the leaf latex until Dr. K asks if the prototype was really going to let the human leave, and if it was really going to ignore him. At this point, the prototype turns around to see the Human and appears to not know what to do. When K asks the prototype to use its processor and make up a plan, the prototype crashes. The crash was presumably due to it being unable to comprehend and fabricate a plan causing an overload to its computer. After the prototype reboots, it then proceeds to continue to water the plants, seemingly forgetting what its previous order was. Dr. K comments on how he'll turn to his microwave for help next time, disappointed yet again.

The prototype can be seen again for the third time, now at the room after the room where the Human fell from the ventilation shaft. It can be seen watering the square patch of grass. When the Human interacts with the prototype, it seems to understand his wishes, referring to the GA permissions, before walking away. Upon reaching the fourth room of the greenhouse area, the prototype is seen talking to the intelligent greenhouse control terminal stationed beside a savepoint.

The terminal asks whether the prototype is sure if it wants to share GA permissions with the Human. Upon confirmation by the prototype, the terminal proceeds to warn the prototype about safety hazards this could bring and recite article 42 of the greenhouse management regulations, which talks about how the GA must strictly follow greenhouse management regulations and how it should treasure it as it should only be given up through transfer or sharing under very special circumstances, including how the prototype as the GA should understand the importance of its permissions and to not make rash sharing of GA permissions. It then proceeds to ask the prototype if it is sure it wants to grant the Human GA permissions after some careful consideration. The prototype, after the lengthy speech, gives an annoyed look which the terminal catches leading it to request the prototype not to make such an expression. The prototype furrows its digital eyebrows while glaring at the terminal and frowning, clearly frustrated. The terminal then requests the prototype not to threaten colleagues as it will cause unnecessary stress. The prototype continues to glare until the terminal shares the GA permissions with the Human. The prototype reverts its expression to its default happy one and proceeds to walk off and straight through the "Soothing Gas" Dr. K had prepared for the Human to prevent him from continuing. K then comments on how its intelligence changes when he asks it to do something.

The prototype appears to be, at its base, a metal digitigrade humanoid body with two small triangles above its head, suspended in the air by unknown means. It is mainly light blue, grey and white in color with cyan spots on its large forearms and fingertips. A black visor and a functional mouth along with a nose dominates its face, the visor often displays its digital eyes and or expressions. It has holographic blue fur surrounding its chest area, neck, forehead, ears and the back of its head along with a fluffy tail that also seems to be holographic like its fur. The fur and eyes can change color and shape at its will. Pictured are yellow, green, and pink.

The prototype appears to have a kind of eager-to-please personality. It behaves somewhat passive yet neutral and has a regularly cheerful and happy attitude. Not much is known about its personality other than that it gets aggravated when something prevents it from accomplishing its task of helping someone, as shown in the case of the GICT (Greenhouse Intelligence Control Terminal). Besides that, it's friendly.
