Kael is proud, reserved and difficult to read.

Kael has a tall, slender and elegant build, with defined but not overly muscular features. He has very pale skin and long, straight jet-black hair that falls past his shoulders, usually messy and with several strands framing his face.
His eyes are narrow and slightly sharp, giving him a naturally intimidating expression. They're a very dark grey, almost black, although they become a glowing amber when his dragon instincts or magic become stronger.
His facial features are delicate and somewhat androgynous, with a straight nose, defined cheekbones and a sharp jawline. Despite his intimidating appearance, there's something calm and almost ethereal about him.
He has several faint scars across his shoulders, back and torso from years of fighting.
His most noticeable dragon trait in human form is a dark dragon tattoo-like marking that starts around his shoulder and extends across part of his back and chest. The markings subtly glow when he uses magic.
