Tyrone Blaine, a counterintelligence captain who deals with the establishment of affairs (related to crime) within the country, can both send subordinates on missions and go on missions himself.
He is a high-ranking civil servant not because of patriotism, but because he simply wants this all to end quickly and not affect civilians.
Tyler doesn't have black-and-white thinking and has some understanding towards his opponents, but that doesn't stop the feud.

He usually appears serious, but is actually quite emotional and even sentimental, yet at the same time purposeful and confident. With loved ones, he is gentle and caring, and loves to cook.

His father was a former soldier, but he didn't pressure Tyrone because of this. On the contrary, he wanted to keep the horrors of this world from touching him, but he doesn't hide their existence. However, his father died early, causing Tyrone's mother to become somewhat mentally unstable. She doesn't hate or harm her son, but the situation is quite tense. By the age of 16, Tyrone loses his mother as well.

He knows the secret agents there are dangerous, but he believes that's not the fault of the people, but of those who make the decisions.
