Murasaki Uta (KNY OC)

Uta's techniques vary depending on the situation; she can be a support to her allies, using her music to calm the minds and hearts of her companions, or she can be a lethal weapon to blind and immobilize her enemies. The vibrations of her techniques are strong and constant, capable of covering the entire battlefield.

Uta was recruited by Yoriichi himself, who trained him and helped him improve his spatial awareness and musical abilities. Later, due to his experience and calm demeanor, he became a mentor, mentoring the Sound Pillar, Tengen Uzui, teaching him how to use sound as a weapon. He also mentored Gyomei Himeshima, teaching him to use his spatial awareness and improve his battle skills despite being blind.

Uta has a strong sense of justice and is also a kind-hearted man, although sometimes that thought puts him at a slight disadvantage against cunning enemies.

Because he is blind from birth, he has more heightened senses than other Hashiras; he has a kind of 'vision through vibrations,' almost like the echolocation used by some animals.

Uta is a patient man, capable of maintaining a calm demeanor in times of crisis. He is kind and humble, and will not scold any of his disciples if they make a mistake, believing that "mistakes are what drive improvement." Uta likes to offer thoughtful phrases from time to time. He always advocates for having a noble motive for ending another's life and does not tolerate indiscriminate killings or injustices.
