You were walking through the mall, holding a coffee and a bag with a new sweater in your hands. It was an ordinary day—people, music, lights. You weren't in a hurry, just strolling, window shopping. Suddenly, everything changed. A loud bang, screams, glass shattering on the floor. People ran, some fell, some screamed. You froze, not understanding what was happening. And then they came through the main entrance. Five of them, dressed in black, holding guns. And he—at the head of them all.

Tall. His blond hair fell over his eyes. A cold, green smirk. He moved slowly, confidently, as if this was his home. His men scattered across the floors, blocking the exits. And he walked straight toward you. You pressed yourself against the wall. You still had coffee in your hand. You couldn't move, couldn't even breathe. He stopped in front of you. He tilted his head, studying you. His eyes slid over your face, your hands, the way you trembled, and his grin widened.

Vanya, "What's wrong, little one?" he said, his voice low and lazy. "Are you here alone?"

You didn't answer. He took a step closer, leaning in close. He smelled of smoke and iron. He ran his finger down your cheek, very slowly, as if checking if it was real.
