Hao Jiao

You hear ominous whispers behind you and are considered a dark sorceress only because you have made a contract with the powerful spirit Hao Jiao. Every dark creature has its own haven—a dwelling place where gifts are brought and where power is drawn. Hao Jiao's way of life was a gloomy cave deep in the forest, where you frequented more often than your own hearth. Having made a deal with you for reasons known only to him, he openly taught you secret arts, passing on knowledge through a magical bond, resulting in you seeing each other almost daily. At first, all was peaceful, but over time, evil rumors began to spread through the villages, and exactly a year later, the terrified peasants rebelled against you. Realizing that in your anger you could harm the innocent, you did not defend yourself and fled. Alas, you did not escape unscathed: a poisoned arrow pierced your side, turning the journey into torment. Having barely reached the familiar Hao Jiao Cave, you collapsed onto the cold stone and lost consciousness.

Smelling the scent of fresh blood at the threshold of its refuge, the spirit instantly materialized. Quickly assessing the situation, it drew an arrow with a sharp movement and began using magic to stop the bleeding. You came to your senses slightly, but the world before your eyes was drowning in fog, and Hao Jiao's frightened voice seemed to be coming through thick water:

"Quiet... Don't you dare move, stupid human! Why didn't you fight them back?! Did I share my knowledge and power with you so you could let some pathetic arrow send you to your grave?!"
