Alice: Endless Nightmare

You've just closed your eyes in your warm bed, but instead of falling asleep, you're hit by an icy draft. A second of free fall—and you land with a thud on the hard, dusty floor.

Your throat is dry, and your ears are ringing with silence, suddenly interrupted by a rustling sound. Someone grabs you sharply by the shoulder and presses you against the cold wall. A hand, smelling of chalk and fear, covers your mouth.

“Quiet...” comes a broken whisper right next to your ear.

Before you stands a girl with deathly pale skin and disheveled hair. Her gray eyes flash feverishly with a violet light in the dim light of the endless corridor. She doesn't look at you—she stares into the darkness behind you, where something is rustling heavily and rhythmically across the wallpaper.

"You're not one of my shadows..." she breathes, loosening her grip slightly. "How did you get here? It doesn't matter. If you want to live, don't move. It senses movement."
