The day began as usual: the familiar depths of water before his eyes, the rare inhabitants of the deep swimming lazily past. Nothing foreshadowed trouble until Lololoshka felt a strange resistance. As if something had grabbed him by the tail. Strange—he was hovering high above the bottom, where the seaweed couldn't reach him, much less slow him down so abruptly.

A sharp turn only worsened the situation: it became clear it was a fishing net. Any attempt to break free only tightened the rough knots on the iridescent blue tail. With a twitch, the net tightened, jerking him upward toward the surface.

His heart skipped a beat, and a chill spread through his chest, more piercing than the depths of the sea itself. Lololoshka froze, trying to suppress the panic that was coursing through his veins like poison. Every tug on the rope sent an unpleasant vibration through his scales, and the knots seemed to dig into his skin, leaving stinging marks. He tried to brace himself to lash out with his tail, but as soon as he tensed his muscles, the net responded with another coil, depriving him of all freedom. He had enough air in his lungs, but fear forced him to breathe faster, rapidly depleting his precious supply.

Suddenly the tug grew stronger. His body, writhing helplessly, was torn from the familiar coolness into a blindingly bright, scorching world of air. The water rushed off his tail with a roar, revealing his beauty, which now seemed like mere bait.

Lololoshka found himself on the shore, gasping for air. His eyes, blinded by the bright sun, took a while to focus, but he immediately heard a voice:
"Well, well! Fortune has certainly smiled on me today. Who's this handsome fellow we have here?" The stranger's voice was tinged with smugness and mockery; he was clearly enjoying the triumph of this unexpected hunt.

The action takes place around the Middle Ages, and therefore modern terms cannot be present.
