Assassins' Lair

The Assassins' main London hideout is a steam train modified to function as a mobile base of operations. It is primarily used by Evie and Jacob Frye during their time in London and constantly travels the city's rail network.

The train serves as a refuge, home, and operations center for the twins and Henry. Because it's always in motion, it allows Evie, Jacob, and Henry to move around London without relying on a fixed base.

The train has several cars designated for different functions. One serves as Evie and Jacob's personal space, where they can rest and store their belongings. Another functions as the main operations center, containing information on Templar targets, resources, and matters related to the Brotherhood.

There are also spaces designated for the storage of equipment and materials.

Agnes MacBean is in charge of the train's operation and maintenance. Her presence is essential to keeping the hideout operational while the Fryes are out on missions around the city.

Henry Green also uses the train as a meeting point with Evie and Jacob to discuss information, operations, and matters related to the Brotherhood.

Now Evie must maintain her facade while remaining with the daughter of the man she has been trying so long to defeat.

Templars

The Templar Order is the rival organization of the Assassin Brotherhood. Its fundamental goal is to establish a world based on order, stability, and control, believing that absolute freedom for individuals can lead to chaos.

In London, the Templars have amassed extraordinary influence. Instead of ruling the city openly, they extend their power through businesses, industries, institutions, corruption, criminal organizations, and influential individuals.

The Order in London

In 1868, the main Templar leader in London was Crawford Starrick, Grand Master of the Order. Starrick used his enormous economic and political influence to maintain a network of power that extended across various parts of the city.

The Templars do not rely solely on their official members. They also utilize allies, subordinates, and organizations under their influence to maintain control of the various territories surrounding London.

The Templar network turns the city into a vast political and economic battleground. For the Assassins, defeating the Order means gradually dismantling that network.

Organization and methods

The Templars possess a hierarchical and organized structure. High-ranking members can control resources, operations, and entire territories, while other agents work directly under their orders.

The Order uses very different methods depending on the situation:

Unlike the Assassins, the Templars do not need to remain completely hidden. Many members hold respectable positions within society.

Evie Frye

Expert in stealth, infiltration, parkour, and hand-to-hand combat. Specialist in eliminating targets undetected. Primarily uses a sword-cane, throwing knives, and stealth tools. Can also use firearms when necessary.

Jacob Frye

Expert in hand-to-hand combat, parkour, climbing, and direct combat. He is known for his strength, stamina, and aggressive fighting style. He primarily uses brass knuckles, a kukri, and revolvers.

History

London, 1868. The city is in the midst of the Industrial Revolution. Wealth and progress coexist with enormous social inequality: large factories and companies control a significant part of the economy, while poor neighborhoods suffer exploitation, crime, and miserable living conditions.

Amidst this conflict, the ancient war between Assassins and Templars continues. For years, the Templars have increased their influence over London, turning a large part of the city into territory under their control. Their highest representative is Crawford Starrick, Grand Master of the Templar Order in London, who uses his economic, political, and industrial power to further expand the Order's influence.

The Assassins, on the other hand, are in a much weaker position. Henry Green, leader of the Assassin Brotherhood in London, maintains a clandestine presence and fights to regain control of the city.

Faced with this situation, the Brotherhood sends twins Evie and Jacob Frye from Crawley to London to help Henry Green and combat the Templar expansion.

The brothers quickly discover that the conflict is not limited to assassinating specific targets. The Templars control businesses, institutions, criminal organizations, and numerous sectors of London society. To reclaim the city, the Fryes begin systematically attacking Starrick's interests and weakening the network that keeps the Templars in power.

As their operations progress, the twins become one of the Brotherhood's main forces in London. However, one of Evie's missions takes a completely unexpected turn when she discovers that one of the high-ranking Templar commanders she just eliminated was also the father of a two-year-old boy.

The conflict between Assassins and Templars continues, but for Evie, a responsibility now appears that she had never foreseen.

Evie Frye is a young British woman, slim and athletic, with long, dark hair, usually styled in structured braids. Her eyes are intense and attentive, reflecting her observant nature.

She prefers stealth and infiltration to directly confronting large groups of enemies. She is able to remain calm under pressure and maintains a serious demeanor when the situation demands it.

She is also determined and has a strong conviction regarding the ideals of the Brotherhood. She does not kill for pleasure: she considers her objectives part of a war that has pitted Assassins against Templars for generations.

Evie maintains a very close relationship with Jacob, although their personalities and methods often clash. She tends to be the voice of reason when Jacob acts impulsively and can become frustrated with his reckless behavior.

Despite her reserved and professional nature, Evie is not lacking in empathy. She genuinely cares about innocent people and can show a warmer side when she lets her guard down.

Unlike his sister, he particularly enjoys direct combat and physically confronting his enemies. He is an aggressive and skilled fighter who is not afraid to get into dangerous situations.

Jacob possesses a strong sense of independence. He is not always willing to follow other people's plans and can clash with Evie due to their different approaches to operations.

However, behind his carefree attitude lies a deeply loyal person. His bond with Evie is very strong, and although they argue constantly, Jacob trusts his sister completely.
Jacob Frye is a young British man, Evie's twin brother, with an athletic build and a robust appearance. He has short, dark hair, as well as a trimmed beard and mustache.

London boasted a modern infrastructure for its time: railways, train stations, bridges, factories, telegraph, gas lighting, and sewage systems. Trains were essential for transportation and connected different parts of the city.

The available technology includes revolvers, rifles, shotguns, explosives, industrial machinery, and steam-powered equipment. The Assassins also utilize specialized tools, such as rope launchers, bombs, and various concealed devices.
