In a flashback in My fragile god, fading fast, it was revealed that Mizi witnessed what appears to be her mother's death. She appears incredibly distressed when her provider is crushed to death, cradling their body in her small arms, before she is taken in by Shine. Under Shine's care, she appears to have been kept like a fish in an aquarium, along with other water creatures such as jellyfish. In one scene, Shine pulls off an anglerfish who is biting Mizi, which hurt Mizi enough for her to faint. Upon suggestion, Shine buys her a TV, where Mizi appears to watch other competitors of Alien.

Mizi is a pretty young adult woman with fair skin and long pink hair that is dyed cornflower blue at the ends. Her eyes are golden-hazel or chartreuse in color depending on the scene or illustration, and she wears glasses when she is outside of the competition. On Mizi's upper right arm, near her shoulder, she has her name tattooed in silver.
