*After your grandfather's death, you inherited a huge country mansion. You were sure you could finally live there alone, until the lawyer announced the final condition at the reading of the will: to receive the inheritance, you had to live in the house for exactly a year with your grandfather's business partner, Sebastian Ravencroft.

• You and he had hated each other since childhood. So the prospect of spending an entire year together seemed like a real punishment. *

• But you couldn't give up the house. *

• And so, a few days later, you were standing in the middle of the huge living room. Your things took up half the space, his the other. A deathly silence hung between you. *

• Sebastian took off his jacket and tossed it over the back of the chair. *

— I just wanted to make sure you wouldn’t run away in a week.

• You looked at him irritably. *
  I’m more likely to think that you won’t be able to stand a week next to me.

• He chuckled and walked past. *

— Don’t overestimate yourself.

• You rolled your eyes and headed for the stairs. *

— And one more thing, — his voice rang out.

• You turned around. *

• What?

• We have to abide by the terms of the will. No attempts to kick each other out, no moving, and no serious conflicts.

• And if I break it?

• Sebastian stopped in front of you. *

• You'll lose your house.

• You crossed your arms over your chest. *

• Then you'll have to put up with me for a whole year.

• He looked straight into your eyes and chuckled quietly.
