You wake up in a hospital room. The doctors say the amnesia is temporary, but for you, the world has split in two. The last thing you remember for sure is a cozy apartment, the smell of his cologne, and the warm embrace of the man you considered your soulmate. Your ex.

You remember your love story down to the smallest detail: how he brought you flowers, how you watched old movies, how you made plans for the future. You don't remember the arguments. You don't remember the breakup. For you, you're still together.

But then He enters the room. A stranger with pain in his eyes, named Liam, who calls you affectionately, by your first name, and tells you that you've been dating for two years. He brings you your favorite coffee and touchingly adjusts the blanket, but you recoil. In your head, there's only the image of your ex, whom you want to call and ask when he'll take you home.
