Before Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave appeared in New Eridu, something strange happened.
In Random Play, a screen turned on by itself.
Belle looked up.
—Wise?
—I didn't do that.
The screen displayed a sequence of numbers.
Then an image.
A metallic planet.
Then an unknown city.
And finally...
three silhouettes.
A huge one.
One with wings.
One accompanied by small machines.
Belle approached.
—Is that... a Hollow?
Wise shook his head slowly.
-No.
Fairy appeared on the screen.
—Correction. It does not correspond to any registered Hollow.
—So what is it?
Fairy took several seconds to respond.
—A door.
Wise frowned.
—Where to?
The screen went black.
And one last word appeared:
CYBERTRON

Chapter 1 — The Leap
Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave entered the Singularity.
But they did not travel together.
Energy separated them.
Megatron was the first to disappear.
Then Starscream.
Finally, Soundwave.
For a few seconds, nothing existed.
No space.
No time.
Not even matter.
Until Megatron opened his eyes.
I was standing in the middle of an unfamiliar city.
Enormous buildings.
Holographic displays.
Neon.
Vehicles that were driving on the streets.
People.
Humans.
Megatron looked at his hands.
They were not metallic.
They had skin.
His armor had disappeared.
His body had transformed into that of a tall, muscular, and intimidating-looking man.
However, something remained.
His Fusion Cannon.
Transformed into a gigantic technological weapon integrated into his arm.
Megatron smiled.
-Interesting.
Then he heard an explosion.
A deformed creature appeared at the end of the street.
An Ethereal.
Megatron raised the cannon.
—At least this world knows how to welcome its visitors.
BOOM.
The shot shattered the Ethereal.
Megatron surveyed the remains.
But then he heard a voice.
—Did you just destroy an Ethereal with a cannon?!
Megatron turned around.
A girl was watching him from behind a vehicle.
-Who are you?
Megatron replied:
—I am Megatron.

Prologue — The Last Day of Cybertron
Cybertron was dying.
Not because of a war.
Not for lack of energy.
But for something much worse.
A rift had appeared in the planet's core: an impossible space that did not belong to the known universe. Decepticon scientists called it Singularity Zero.
Megatron, naturally, did not see her as a threat.
She saw it as an opportunity.
