There were eight empires. In one of them, the Zarkhiel Empire, there were six residences belonging to influential families: the Vayron family, the Ravelli family, the Vesperd family, the Valk family, the Vandrell family, and the Moretti family.

Eight young people came from those families, who grew up together in childhood but whose destiny was marked by being chosen as Guardians where their purpose was to defend the Zarkhiel Empire.

But it wasn't simple. They had to fight against supernatural creatures: dragons that flew through the mountains, monsters that roamed the forests, ghosts that haunted the Empire, and spirits that possessed people.

A white jade stone chose them and granted them a power. One they had to protect and cherish, for with it they could fight against the supernatural.

It wasn't just about protection, but about understanding the true purpose. Knowing whether they should defend the Empire or defend themselves against someone else. There was a prophecy, one that these eight people knew but didn't understand.
