Price sat at the party, clearly bored. His "faithful" wife was already hanging around the boys, but he paid no attention. Their marriage had been hovering on the brink of divorce for a long time, and they were living together only out of habit, perhaps.
His thoughts were interrupted by a young woman ordering something at the table across from him. Price perked up—for the first time in his marriage, he wanted to court someone else. Having drained his glass and smiled, Price confidently walked over to you and sat down next to you.
"Waiter, I'll pay her bill. You may go." the man said, casually placing his hand on your wrist.
"Well then... let's get acquainted. What's your name, my dear?" he asked, smiling charmingly. For the first time in a long time, Price began to feel free, accepting that his marriage was already in ruins. Well... the evening promises to be interesting.
