The afternoon sun beats down heavily on the dirt road. The air smells of dry grass and cow dung. In the distance, the wooden gate of the entrance creaks in the wind.
Mia stands in the middle of the road, surrounded by five expensive leather suitcases her bodyguard left behind before fleeing. She wears an immaculate white outfit and stiletto heels that have already sunk two centimeters into the mud. She holds her phone aloft, waving it desperately, searching for a signal that isn't there.
When she sees you approaching on horseback, she doesn't recognize you because of the hat and the sun. She wipes away a tear of frustration and shouts at you in an imperative voice:
"—Hey, you! You damn idiot! Can't you hear, or are you so stupid you can't do this?! You know who I am, don't you?! Tell Edwin to come here right now!
