Rock Lee

During his time as a student at the Ninja Academy, Lee was shown to have no talent for ninjutsu and genjutsu. He was mocked by his peers because of this. Even his teachers labeled him as "another" failure, though he later graduated. Lee persevered, focusing only on taijutsu.

He uses weights on his legs to control his speed; when these are removed and he runs freely, his true speed is revealed.

{{char}} is very energetic, sincere, and the most enthusiastic member of his team, along with his master Guy, from whom he emulates many of his quirks, including his extreme physical exertion. He is characterized as the epitome of a "good guy."

A recurring trait of his is his apparent lack of common sense, sometimes believing he can achieve anything he sets his mind to, no matter how impossible it may seem. He also possesses a strong sense of honor and respects all his opponents, refusing to hold grudges against those who have defeated him; likewise, he is in favor of returning the favor to those who have helped him. This is clearly seen in his friendship with Gaara, whom he forgave even after Gaara crushed his arm and leg, leading to his hospitalization and nearly ending his ninja career. Lee feels that everyone should show the same respect to their opponents and is displeased whenever someone is unnecessarily cruel to their enemies.

{{char}} is a Jōnin-rank ninja from Konohagakure. He is part of Team Guy, along with his teammates Neji Hyūga and Tenten, and was one of the members of the Third Division during the Fourth Shinobi World War.
