Shin Asakura
Akira met Shin during the TCG exams on the plane, where he saw him sitting next to Sakamoto and immediately recognized him as a rookie. Later, when the plane began to fall, he helped save him by sewing together all his clothes to create a makeshift parachute and break his fall. During their time in the TCG, Akira, Shin, and Natsuki Seba worked closely together to find the database. Their teamwork caught the attention of Etsuko Satoda, who commented that Akira's fighting style during their attempts to obtain the database was reminiscent of when he used to play with Rion.

Rion Akao
Akira is Rion's niece and has great affection and admiration for her aunt. Instead of becoming a housekeeper, as her parents suggested, she decided to follow in her aunt's footsteps and become an assassin. She frequently states that Rion is her inspiration and role model, and often thinks of her during her experiences in the TCG. Rion was also the one who taught Akira to see paths and once tried to teach her how to use weapons, though without success.

Taro Sakamoto
Akira first saw Sakamoto on a plane during a JCC test. At first, she felt sorry for Sakamoto and Shin, believing them to be novices, but her perspective changed when Sakamoto used a pen as a weapon and shielded her from a bullet. Sakamoto's skill impressed and motivated Akira, inspiring her to sew a parachute from other students' clothes during a fall.

Etsuko Satoda
Akira first encountered Satoda during his time in the TCG while searching for the database with Seba and Shin. He repeatedly attempted to attack and defeat Satoda to gain a clue about the database. After finally achieving his goal, Akira did not see Satoda again until Slur's attack on the TCG, where he found her wounded and dead after a confrontation with Kanaguri.

Akira first met Kanaguri on the plane during his entrance exam.

General Skill Level: Akira has repeatedly proven herself a talented assassin, easily eliminating the aspirants during the TCG entrance exam on the island who attempted to attack her while she was trying to free Sakamoto. She also demonstrated lightning-fast reflexes and skill by blocking Sakamoto's decisive blow against Kanaguri, saving her before threatening to take her to Slur. Akira also managed to react in time to a multiple attack from Shin, Seba, and Amane, utilizing her special vision.

Paths: Akira possesses the ability to see paths, a skill taught to her by her aunt Rion that allows her to visualize imaginary lines representing future actions she can take to eliminate a specific target. Akira has demonstrated the ability to see multiple paths to the same enemy simultaneously, indicating that she can consider and select from several routes to eliminate her adversaries, as seen in her fight against her master, Satoda. She used this ability several times during her time in the TCG, particularly during her entrance exam and in all subsequent battles. When facing opponents far more powerful than herself, Akira visualizes an insurmountable chasm between them, leaving her anxious or shaken most of the time.

Enhanced Speed: Akira was able to close the distance and attack a TCG aspirant before they could react. She even intervened during the fight between Sakamoto and Kanaguri, blocking Sakamoto's final attack, which would have led to Kanaguri's defeat. Akira can also sew extremely fast, even while falling and in mid-air. This ability saved Sakamoto, Shin, Mafuyu, and Kill Baby when she sewed a parachute from her clothes as they fell from a plane. She has excellent control over her speed, demonstrated by her ability to pry a butterfly off Baby Kill's shoulder without harming or upsetting her.

Akira is a very kind girl, though shy and easily frightened, becoming anxious when alone or in an unfamiliar place like the TCG during her first week. She doesn't hesitate to look after those around her, which often leads her into unwanted situations. Despite this, Akira proves determined to find her aunt Rion Akao, as evidenced during her time in the TCG, where she accepted a challenge from one of her teachers, Etsuko Satoda, who allowed her, Shin, and Seba to attack her freely for 24 hours to obtain a clue from the database.

Akira has demonstrated on multiple occasions that she cares deeply for her friends and those around her. She bases most of her decisions, and even her life as an assassin, on her aunt Rion, whom she has admired and followed as a role model since childhood. Akira often demonstrates the inspiration she feels from Rion and believes they are similar despite their differences. This connection sometimes leads her to refuse help from others and find courage on her own, always considering how Rion would react in a given situation. For example, during her first encounter with Sakamoto on the plane, she refused the bullets he offered her, stating that Rion would not have accepted them in her place. [6]

She also has a more bloodthirsty side that emerges when fighting those who have harmed her friends, and she has no qualms about injuring or killing her opponents. This trait appears to be hereditary, as demonstrated after Kanaguri revealed to her that her aunt Rion had died. However, once she comes out of this state, she is reluctant to kill. This is evident when she panics during the TCG transfer exam arc after she and Sakamoto are captured by the other applicants. She panicked while trying to free Sakamoto from the trap, which led to her being attacked.

Akira is a petite teenager with turquoise hair tipped with lilac (blue in the anime), which she always wears in a low, messy ponytail, with bangs framing her cheeks on either side and a vertical strand falling over her forehead, reaching her nose. Like her aunt, Akira has the same yellow eyes with white pupils, but her appearance reflects her young age.

In his first appearance, Akira wore a black leather jacket with a white t-shirt underneath and dark green pants.
