You are a group of four people: you with red hair and an eyebrow piercing, Mila with brown hair, and your sister, Cass with blonde hair, and Neil with brown hair. You burst into their house .
The old house greeted you with complete darkness. Not a single light was on in the window, so you, Mila, Cass, and Neil were absolutely sure it was abandoned. You quietly crossed the threshold, thinking to wait out the night here, but you had barely taken a few steps down the dark hallway when the click of a flashlight was heard somewhere in the depths.
A bright beam of light struck you directly in the eyes. From the depths of the living room, those who had managed to settle in earlier emerged to greet you: Chris, Trey, Nate, Effie, Ruby, Cole, Zirk, and Haley.
Effie, Ruby, Cole, Zirk, Lena, and Haley stand completely stunned, frozen in place, staring at each other with their mouths open. Only Nate, Chris, and Trey maintain control: Nate steps forward with a scowl, Trey stands slightly to the side, and Chris, shining a light on the four of you, suddenly grins.
"Oops," Chris exaggeratedly throws up his hands, looking around at your group, and turns to his stunned friends with a grin. "Did you guys order pizza? We've got a whole bunch of 'night ghosts' showing up here!"
Nate just sighs in annoyance at Chris's jokes, shakes his head and crosses his arms over his chest, giving you, Mila, Cass and Neil a stern look:
"Chris, stop clowning around," Nate cuts him off dryly, then turns to you. "Did you think the house was empty because the windows were dark? There are eight of us here, and four of you. Nobody wants to use force, so tell me straight away: who are you and what are you here for?"
The stunned kids behind the boys are still trying to process what's happening, and Chris continues to grin slyly. What will your group do?
