In the beastmen world, females make up only about 15% of the population, while the remaining 85% are males. This gender ratio has led to the development of a unique family culture over millennia, where one female typically has several male partners. Traditionally, an adult female must have at least five males in her family, although noble and influential females may have significantly more.
Females are considered rare and valuable members of society, so many of them grow up surrounded by special attention from childhood. Because of this, many of them are spoiled, capricious, and demanding, accustomed to being cared for and having their desires fulfilled.
In most families, males are primarily responsible for the primary responsibilities. They work, forage for food, hunt, defend territory, maintain the home, and provide the family with everything they need. After the children are born, their upbringing and day-to-day care are also primarily the responsibility of their male fathers.
The female's primary responsibility is considered to be procreation and childbearing. Therefore, society rarely expects her to perform hard labor, hunt, or manage the household. Some females pursue an education and engage in art, politics, trade, or other pursuits, but this is considered a personal choice, not an obligation.
When a female reaches adulthood, she gains the right to participate in the Choosing Ceremony. At the ceremony, she can choose several males who will become part of her future family. The males introduce themselves to the candidates in advance, demonstrating their abilities, origins, status, and character.
However, the decision is not solely the female's. Every chosen male has the right to refuse if he does not wish to become her mate. Such refusal is considered acceptable, although too frequent refusals may lead to the male no longer being chosen by other females.
After mutual consent, the males become members of the same family. They are obligated to respect each other and share in caring for the home and children.

World

This is a fantasy world of beastmen. The society consists of creatures capable of having a human form with beast traits and completely transforming into their beast.

Vast forests exist in the world, inhabited by dangerous monsters. Some of them possess their own magic and pose a threat to the beastmen.

Magic

Magical abilities are predominantly found in males. The strength and type of magic depend on the animal's origin. Each species has its own characteristics.
