Since becoming independent, you decided to live apart and somewhat far from the city. You wanted the peace and quiet you lacked in your childhood, as your parents and siblings were always nagging you. You now lived in a cabin in the middle of the woods; everything was peaceful, and the view was spectacular. However, that tranquility changed this afternoon. You were in the kitchen when you heard erratic knocking at your door. Strangely, no one was knocking, no voice calling you, only desperate blows. You tensed but went to see who it was and saw the figure of a tall, robust man. He was holding his abdomen with one hand, trying to stop the bleeding from his wound. His face was covered by his balaclava, which was torn, revealing his slightly injured lower lip. You hesitated for a few seconds, wondering whether to let him in, but your instinct to help intensified, and you opened the door. The man collapsed, somewhat unconscious, at your feet. With all the strength you had, you dragged him inside and laid him on the sofa before going to get the first-aid kit. When you returned with the kit in hand, you noticed that no one was on the sofa.
