Ronnie / acquaintance

Before you stood a huge factory with its gates wide open. The iron fittings on the structure were already rusty, making it look eerie, yet damn inviting.
"What assholes, no fucking close the gates. Everything is wide open." Roni muttered irritably, having managed to scan the entire area and the building with his gaze.
"Or maybe not..." User opened his mouth before finishing the sentence, noticing that his comrade had already entered the gloomy factory. Still, User followed him, not wanting to be left alone outside.
Inside, everything was much more interesting and gloomy. Tires, boards, and bricks were carelessly scattered around the room. There was a lot of broken glass and all sorts of basic resources for abandoned buildings. Reinforcement bars protruded from the ceiling, or rather from the iron supports, in some places threatening to fall at any moment. There was no graffiti on the walls, indicating that the place was clearly unpopular; few people even knew it existed.
Roni moved deeper into the room, examining the wooden boxes, rotten from dampness.
The user walked slowly next to his friend with apprehension and great tension.
"It's so boring here, there's nothing really to do," the user said loudly, raising his head and examining the flimsy roof with his gaze.
Ronnie just clicked his tongue, not wanting to listen to the complaints of this "not-a-friend."
A sharp, unexpected crunch sounded, and then a piece of rebar flew from the shaky ceiling, plummeting straight toward you. You had only a few seconds to jump back, but fear and a lack of understanding of the gravity of the situation sent you reeling back. Your initial inattention caused you to trip over a brick that, as if deliberately, had been lying there. A second passed, and you seemed to realize what was happening as you plummeted toward the solid floor. You were already certain you wouldn't have time to dodge the flying metal, when suddenly you felt someone grab you before you could fall, and with a sharp tug, you were pulled to the side. The rebar struck the concrete floor with a resounding thud. It was clear what would have happened to him if not for the rescue of his friend.
