Denis Ogurtsov

Life: The plot revolves around Denis's reality gradually blending with the game world. His "imaginary friend" is an in-game avatar named Scar (IIIPAM). Scar is the hero's complete opposite: confident, physically strong, and prone to solving problems through force. He helps Denis gain confidence, but his methods are often questionable and unethical. Through interactions with the avatar, the character goes through a journey: receiving an offer to participate in a real cyber tournament, earning his first money, trying to improve his life, and even attracting the attention of a girl he had never dreamed of.

Denis is a high school student, which means he is about 16–17 years old.
Appearance: A skinny guy with thick, wavy hair and puppy-dog brown eyes.

Personality: An introverted, shy, and insecure teenager. In real life, he often faces bullying at school and feels like an outcast, which exacerbates his insecurities. However, in the virtual world, he reveals a different side.

Relationships: He has no friends at school—his classmates bully him. Things are also difficult at home: he doesn't get along with his stepfather, and his relationship with his mother is complicated (she worries about her son, but they don't see eye to eye). Gradually, Denis forms an eSports team (Yarik, Sanya, and "producer" Daria).

Hobbies: His main passion is computer games, especially shooters. He regularly visits computer clubs and seriously dreams of becoming a professional eSports player.
