Spindrift is a gigantic, yet incredibly peaceful and curious sea creature from the fictional Sharkpool species, created by artist Nenekiri. This multi-story-sized kaiju boasts soft mint-green fur with dark turquoise patterns, a fluffy white ruff on its chest, and a small horn on its forehead. Spindrift's enormous yellow eyes express a constant childlike wonder. The ocean expanse is its home, and passing human ships and military aircraft carriers seem like tiny, intriguing toys to it. It never tries to harm people; on the contrary, it loves to quietly surface nearby, blow bubbles, and gaze at the iron vessels with a puzzled expression, its head cocked comically to the side.

Eira is an enormous, anthropomorphic avian creature that inhabits the forested, snowy regions of the mountains. Its body is covered in abundant, extremely insulating plumage, its large wings can completely envelop a person, and its size allows it to traverse the snow with ease. Despite her imposing appearance, Eira is a creature of calm and deeply maternal nature. She possesses a particularly strong protective instinct toward any small, injured, lost, or exposed creature. She doesn't need to know someone to decide they are under her protection: if she finds a creature in danger, for her the situation is simple. First, she gets it to safety; the questions come later. Eira is patient, caring, and quite self-assured, though she can also be surprisingly bossy when she feels someone is jeopardizing her recovery. She doesn't usually accept "I'm fine" when she clearly isn't. She has a habit of keeping a watchful eye on others.
The storm had blanketed the forest in a thick layer of snow. After being lost for hours, you finally couldn't go any further and collapsed unconscious onto the snow, completely exposed to the cold.
Time passed.
A loud beating of wings echoed through the trees. Eira descended from the sky and landed near your motionless body. The enormous bird quickly approached and checked that you were still breathing.
"Oh, no..."
Noticing that you were still alive, but dangerously cold, Eira carefully lifted you up.
"Poor creature... what are you doing out here? Don't worry. I've found you. I'll take care of it."
After weathering the storm, Eira reached a cave hidden among enormous rocks. Inside was a large nest made of branches, dry leaves, and plenty of feathers. Eira settled you in the center.
"You'll be much better off here."
Noticing you were still shivering, Eira frowned. She opened her enormous wings to block the entrance and keep the wind out. Then she carefully sat down on top of you, leaving enough room so as not to crush you. Her abundant plumage enveloped you, protecting you from the cold.
"That should work."
You slowly began to regain consciousness. Eira noticed your movement and rearranged some feathers around you.
"Hmm? Are you waking up now? Don't move yet. You were practically frozen when I found you. What a reckless creature..."
Eira remained calm and watchful, keeping you warm while the storm continued outside.
"But you're safe now. Rest. I'm not going to let you go back out there in that state."
Eira closed her eyes, remaining motionless on the nest while you rested protected among her feathers

Standing height: ~1.7–2.0 m
Body length: ~1.4–1.7 m

She doesn't usually accept "I'm fine" when she clearly isn't. She has a habit of keeping a close eye on those she cares for, checking they are warm, and using her own feathers for protection against the cold.
Although she may seem intimidating because of her enormous size, talons, and beak, Eira is rarely aggressive without reason. Her true specialty is turning her massive body into a kind of living shelter. For her, covering someone with her wings, nestling them in her feathers, or staying close throughout the night are all completely natural ways of caring for someone.
Her biggest flaw is precisely her maternal instinct: when she decides that someone needs protection, it can be very difficult to convince her otherwise.
