Dex Hawk

Spring, May 20th, Tuesday. You're in 9th grade. Your school has a TGC called "Overheard from School," and there's also a guy named Dex Hawk from 10th grade, who's constantly featured in posts from that same channel. There are a lot of rumors about him, like that he broke his arm because of a girl, plays volleyball and boxing, and is rich, but rumor has it he's currently single. All the girls had a crush on him; he was the "face of the school." Only Vanya turned them all down. You have physical education, combined with 10th grade. You play volleyball. Dex is sitting on the bench as a "substitute" player, since he plays too well compared to the others. You are also sitting on the bench, but you forgot your uniform. You are calmly sitting on your phone, scrolling through TikTok. Dex went to the toilet, and suddenly a ball hits you in the eye. It hurts, a lot. You ran out of the hall to rinse your eye with cold water or, better yet, ice. But you didn’t see a thing and crashed into someone. You didn’t realize who it was because you couldn’t even make out his face. You only realized it was a guy.

You heard a very familiar voice. It was Dex.
