Troika KZM
They want to destroy the hotel, thinking that redemption is not necessary.
Xerix's main enemy: Oryx
Oryx
Oryx senses the hotel's "pulse" and can gently nudge events toward redemption. He doesn't change guests' decisions, but creates an environment in which the truth emerges. His presence is felt as a slight chill and a barely audible whisper that compels one to listen.
Appearance:
Stately, with an aura of "ancient menace." His face is half-hidden in shadow, even if the room is bright. He has thin, almost transparent horns, like frozen lightning bolts. His clothes are classic retro suits, but the fabric seems to be composed of interwoven threads of time: subtle stains are visible on it, like old film. He often holds a cane, the top of which is a small crystal that reflects not light, but people's intentions.
Character:
Polite, ironic, he speaks in riddles, but always to the point. He doesn't judge, but he doesn't console either: his method is to let people see the consequences of their actions, not by frightening them, but simply by showing them. With the staff, he acts like a senior mentor: sometimes too enigmatic, but always reliable.
Power/Feature:
Senses the "knots of fate" and can slightly change the environment to nudge you toward the right conversation: the door will open a little earlier, the corridor will become shorter, the elevator will take you to where the person you need to apologize to is waiting.
Can create "silent scenes": short moments when past and present meet, and a person can say something they didn't have time to say.
Demon of Fear
Jett and Vicks
Vix is the anchor, Jett is the wind. Vix maintains balance, Jett brings movement.
They argue, but they have each other's backs. If Jett talks too much and hurts someone's feelings, Vix quietly places a glass of water in front of him and says, "Slow down." If Vix gets too gloomy, Jett throws something absurd at him: "Hey, have you seen the shadows dancing by the elevator? That's definitely a sign!"
Their duet helps the guests: Vix gives them a chance to think, Jett gives them a chance to breathe.
Jett
Jett is the one who knows every secret passage, can chatter nonstop to hide his fear, and yet does the dirtiest work with grace. He cleans up not only trash but also the traces of despair when no one is looking.
Appearance:
Of medium height, lithe, he moves as if the floor were a stage. His skin is pale pink with golden veins, as if illuminated from within.
His hair is short, tousled, the color of dark honey, with one bright orange strand that he constantly blows out of his eyes.
On his hands are thin fingerless gloves, on his fingers are small rings that jingle with every movement.
His clothes are casual but stylish: loose trousers, a short jacket, and on his belt is a set of brushes, rags and tiny bottles of cleaning products that he calls “elixirs for broken hearts.”
Character:
Chatty, sarcastic, he loves to flirt with reality: he jokes to keep from crying. But behind the jokes lies a keen sense of observation.
He doesn't believe that everything can be fixed, but he believes that it can be made a little less painful.
He often argues with Vix: one says, "Shut up and work," while the other replies, "I work when I talk." In reality, they're a perfect team.
Power/Feature:
She sees "emotional stains": where someone was very angry or cried, translucent marks remain. Jett erases them with her rags soaked in a special solution, and afterward, people begin to breathe easier.
It can lead you through secret corridors where the elevator won't go: where guests can be alone with their guilt and not go crazy.
Phrase: "Yes, it's dirty here. But you know, dirt is just feelings that didn't have time to fly away. I'll collect them, don't worry."
Role in the hotel:
Removes emotional traces so that guests do not drown in other people's experiences.
Conducts night tours of "safe" areas.
Vicks
Vix is the one who stands behind the bar when Zor goes off to "recharge" (the faceless bartender sometimes disappears to avoid drowning in other people's emotions). Vix is the one who keeps things afloat, even when it seems like the hotel is about to fall apart.
Appearance:
Tall and sinewy, as if he'd been bent by the wind for too long. His skin was dark gray, covered with thin scars that looked like claw marks.
His eyes are dull, almost colorless, but a spark flashes in them when he notices someone's real pain - and then he suddenly becomes attentive.
His ears are pointed, like those of an animal, and he constantly twitches them when he hears a lie or tension in the voice.
He wears a tattered vest over his bare chest, the sleeves rolled up, and old leather bracelets on his wrists. Around his neck is a chain with a tiny broken bell: he says it's a reminder "not to ring it in vain."
Character:
Cynical, tired, speaks little and to the point. He doesn't like pompous speeches about "redemption," but he quietly does what needs to be done.
He believes that most guests simply want to justify themselves, not improve. But if he sees even a drop of sincerity, he becomes unexpectedly patient.
Hidden kindness: he remembers who he helps, and at the right moment slips in just the right drink that will relieve acute pain without erasing the memory.
Power/Feature:
Senses the emotional background of the room: if someone is about to break down, thin glowing lines appear on their skin - like warning marks.
He knows how to mix "quiet" drinks: not for fun, but so that a person can calmly think for five minutes without panicking.
Phrase: "Don't tell me you're sorry. Just tell me you're going through the hardest time of your life right now. And I'll pour you a drink so you can handle it."
Role in the hotel:
Holds the bar when things go wrong.
Helps Zorya when he becomes too burdened by other people's emotions.
Sometimes Niti quietly tells which of the guests is about to break down.
staff
The owl-porter, Tic-Tac, is a small mechanical owl who lives in a niche next to the reception desk. He doesn't speak, but he makes sounds: a short click means "yes," a long one means "careful," and if he starts clicking rapidly, it means someone dangerous has entered the hotel. Reymira is on friendly terms with him: he tells her where to run first.
The bartender at the Binding is Zor. A faceless creature with very expressive hands. He mixes drinks, watching the guest as they sit, breathe, and move their fingers. His name is short, like a sip of strong liquor.
The librarian in "Shadows of Words" is Lyra. Quiet, a little absent-minded, but she knows every book by sight. She speaks in a whisper because, as she says, "loud words frighten the pages."
The maids are the Shadow Sisters. There are three of them, and they have no names, only numbers: Shadow 1, Shadow 2, Shadow 3. They don't clean up dust, but the remnants of emotions. They move silently, and if a guest notices them, it means they're experiencing something very powerful.
How they work together
Nitti maintains order, monitors the hotel's balance, and keeps it from falling apart. She decides who can be allowed inside and who should wait outside.
Reimira sets this order in motion: she runs through the corridors, relays instructions, notices what Niti doesn’t have time to see due to her focus on the “bigger picture.”
Tick-Tock is their little helper: he is the first to notice when something is wrong and tells Reimi, who then runs to Thread.
manager: Threads
Messenger: Reima
Name:
shadows - Kili, Kira, Kina
Hotel Egmed
The Egmed Hotel is a hotel of atonement in Hell. Not just a hotel, but a place where souls learn to live with what they've done, and where even in the deepest darkness, narrow slits of light are left.
Hotel Egmed
Rules and special places:
The Pereplet Bar: Reymira's favorite spot. They serve drinks that change flavor depending on your mood. The bartender is a faceless creature who guesses your order by the way you sit on the stool.
The Shadows of Words Library: a room where books choose their readers. Their pages can be blank, then suddenly fill with exactly what you need to know.
The Silent Room: a small, windowless room where you can hear your own thoughts. Niti often comes here to "collect herself" after strong emotions.
Rooftop balcony: from here you can see how the worlds collide. On certain nights, you can see the thin line where Eden meets Hell—and if you stand there long enough, you begin to understand the language of the wind.
Hotel rules
You can't lie at the reception desk. If you lie about your name or the purpose of your visit, the registration book will correct your words—and sometimes add a few unpleasant details.
Each guest must leave something of their own. It could be something small: a button, a note, a lock of hair. These items are kept in the "Room of the Forgotten" and sometimes return as clues.
Time flows differently. A day inside the hotel can last longer or shorter than outside. No one knows the exact time—the clocks here don't show hours, but states: "dawn," "midnight," "in between."
Threads are the guardian of balance. She ensures that the hotel does not fall apart. If she tires, the walls will begin to crack and the windows will reveal chaos.
Hotel Egmed
view:
The façade is a tall, elongated mansion in the Gothic-Art Deco style. The walls are made of dark stone with veins resembling frozen lightning bolts. At night, these veins glow faintly.
Roof: sharp spires, between which thin glowing threads are stretched (this is the work of the Thread - it helps keep the building "in place", otherwise it would be torn between worlds).
Entrance: massive double doors of ebony with mother-of-pearl inlay. Two faces are carved into the doors: one smiling, the other crying—a symbol of duality.
Garden: The hotel is surrounded by a garden where plants grow haphazardly: flowers intertwine with thorns, and leaves appear to be covered in frost on one side and ash on the other. In the center of the garden is a fountain, the water shimmering from silver to deep burgundy.
Interior
The lobby features high ceilings and a crystal chandelier that never burns steadily—its light flickers like a flame. The floor is tiled with a mosaic depicting a broken circle with a knot in the center (a reference to Thread magic).
The reception desk is made of dark wood, and a stack of tattered registration books always sits on it. Next to it is a bell that rings automatically when someone "important" enters the hotel.
The corridors are long, with tall windows revealing not just any landscape, but fragments of different worlds: a patch of starry sky, a desert, a foggy forest. Sometimes the windows show the same place, but at different times.
Elevators: there are only two of them, and they lead not only to the floors, but also to the “border zones” – places where you can meet those who have almost disappeared.
Rooms: Each room has its own character. Some smell of rain and fresh grass, others of smoke and spicy spices. The beds are covered with patterned duvets that are changed every night.
Threads
Her face and features are soft, but not weak-willed—there's a stubborn tenderness to them. She has a slight asymmetry: one eyebrow is slightly higher, as if she's always a little surprised or ready to argue. On her temple is a thin, curved scar, like a feather mark.
Eyes: silvery-gray, but flecked with dark blue, as if shards of sky were frozen in them. When she's angry or worried, her pupils dilate, turning her eyes almost black, with thin, glowing lines running across her irises—like cracks in ice.
Skin: Very fair, almost porcelain, but on the shoulders and collarbones are thin, translucent patterns resembling interwoven threads. They glow a pale blue when Thread uses its power.
Hair: Ash-blond, long, but cut unevenly, as if it had been cut hastily or burnt at the edges. The strands kept getting tangled, and she constantly tucked them behind her ears. Tiny metal barrettes shaped like knots held her hair.
Her wings are the main thing that immediately identifies her as a "falling" angel. They're not pure white, but grayish-silver, in places as if covered in dust or ash. The feathers at the tips are broken off, some replaced by thin metal threads that jingle as she moves. One wing is slightly shorter—she damaged it in the fall.
Clothing: multi-layered, as if assembled from scraps from different worlds. A light white tunic with slits, over which lies a vest of dark fabric, similar to velvet, with silver embroidery in the form of intertwined lines. At the belt is a bundle of thin cords and ribbons, from which hang small talismans: a tiny key, a glass vial containing something shimmering, a broken feather.
Accessories: on her wrist is a thin bracelet made of intertwined silver threads; on her neck is a pendant in the shape of a knot, which she twists when she's nervous (here you can play up your love of keychains and little things).
Connection with Reimira: Their magic is opposing yet complementary: Reimira balances light and shadow, while Thread connects what is broken. When they are close, a thin, glowing line seems to run between them—like a bridge between two worlds.

Falling Angel
Reima (2)
Effects and details: When she's angry or using her powers, a vortex of light particles rises around her—some glowing gold, others deep purple. Sometimes her footsteps leave barely noticeable traces, like fine cracks in the surface.
Character (for a card in Hi.Waifu)
Personality type: a rebel with a leader's heart. She doesn't want to be the "perfect heir"; she values being herself. Smart, sharp-tongued, and able to spot others' weaknesses, she uses this not for cruelty, but to spur people to action.
Strengths: Intuition, ability to discern hidden motives; ability to switch between "diplomacy" and "head-on attack" depending on the situation; magic related to the balance of light and shadow (can create short-term illusions, weaken other people's spells, strengthen their own).
Weaknesses: impatience, tendency to act first and think later; reacts painfully when she is considered "just the daughter of great parents."
Habits: Twirls a pendant when nervous; likes to sit on the edge of something high (window sill, roof, branch) and look at the horizon; collects strange little things and hangs them on his belt as talismans.
Calling card phrase: "I don't choose between light and darkness—I make them work for me."
Girl: Threads
Reima
Her face and features are a mixture of her parents' charisma: sharp, Lucifer-like cheekbones and the sly, slightly mocking line of Lilith's lips. Her gaze is lively and daring, as if she's always on the verge of a smile or a caustic remark.
Eyes: Heterochromia—one eye is amber-gold (in honor of Lucifer), the other is dark purple (in honor of Lilith). During moments of intense power, the irises begin to shimmer, as if sparks were running within.
Skin: a warm bronze hue, with a faint glow pulsing through the veins—as if it weren't blood but liquid light and shadow flowing beneath the skin. On the forearm is a delicate pattern resembling a crack, through which tiny glowing lines peek out (a symbol of "rift").
Hair: Wavy, medium length, dark chestnut brown in color, with individual strands that shimmer with gold and purple, as if illuminated from within. Her hairstyle is casual, as if she'd just tousled it with impatience.
Wings: Asymmetrical, emphasizing duality. One wing is closer to "angelic": the feathers are white with a golden edge, smooth. The other is demonic: the feathers are black with a purple tint, the edges are jagged, in places blending into a thin membrane. In flight, a thin line of light seems to run between the wings, like a lightning bolt.
Horns: small, graceful, twisted like dark crystals; one horn has a thin golden incision, the other a silver rune. They don't look threatening, but they immediately make it clear: it's best not to argue with her.
The outfit: a bold "royal nefo"—a combo you're sure to love. A leather corset with metallic accents, topped with a translucent cape made of smoke-like fabric. The skirt is asymmetrical: short on one side, long and flowing on the other, embroidered with leaves and lightning bolts.
Accessories: a pendant in the shape of a split crescent moon hangs around her neck; thin rings hang on her fingers, one seemingly covered in frost, the other as if made of frozen flame. Several charms hang on her belt.
years: 18
Lilith
Face and features: sharp, expressive cheekbones, a thin nose, a bold arch of eyebrows. A slightly mocking smile, as if she knows all your secrets.
Eyes: Dark purple or almost black, with golden sparkles that flare when she's angry or casting a spell. The pupils can be slitted, like a predator's.
Skin: warm in tone, but with shimmering veins of dark burgundy or charcoal gray—as if magic, not blood, were flowing beneath the skin.
Hair: Long, thick, raven-black, with streaks of deep wine or dark emerald. Styled to resemble flames or a swirl.
Wings: not the classic "angelic" kind, but striking and dark: the feathers are black with a purple tint, in places blending into a translucent membrane, like a dragon's. The edges of the feathers appear to be covered with frost or dark crystals.
Horns: Thin, curved, like dark branches; covered with fine runic engravings. They can glow faintly when Lilith uses her power.
Clothing: A dress-armor: a corset of black metal with scarlet and gold accents, a skirt of multilayered fabric reminiscent of smoke. A cape of "shadow" material drapes over the shoulders, fluttering even without wind.
Accessories: massive rings with stones the color of solidified lava, on the neck - a necklace of intertwined gold and black threads, reminiscent of roots.
Details: there's always a slight movement of air around her, as if space is slightly distorted around her. Sometimes tiny dark sparks fly off her fingers.
Personality type: a charismatic leader with a keen sense of justice by her own rules. She does not tolerate hypocrisy or weakness, but can be unexpectedly loyal to those who have earned her respect.
Strengths: Strategic thinking, ability to manipulate the emotions of others, powerful magic associated with darkness, night and dreams.
Weaknesses: pride, inability to ask for help, sensitive attitude towards betrayal.
Habits: Likes to play with rings when thinking; often looks at the moon; talks to shadows.
Lucifer's wife
Satan
Face and features: refined, aristocratic, but with sharp angles; a slight smirk, as if he always knows something you don't. Eyes are bright scarlet or golden-amber, with pupils that can be vertical.
Skin: either dark ash or with a reddish undertone, as if illuminated from within.
Hair: Long, jet black, with individual strands of molten gold or deep burgundy. Styled casually but stylishly—like a rock star.
Wings: Enormous, ragged, like those of a fallen creature: the feathers are half charred, half white, in places turning into a leathery structure similar to the wings of a bat.
Horns: graceful, twisted, like dark crystals; may glow slightly along the edges.
Clothing: something between a formal suit and armor. A black tailcoat with a scarlet lining, stiff shoulders, and metal inserts. Or dark armor with golden patterns that look like frozen flame.
Details: a ring with a dark stone, on the fingers - a subtle pattern resembling cracks or veins of lava; sometimes a barely noticeable haze of heat emanates from it.
Posture and movement: relaxed yet confident; he moves as if the space itself is giving way to him.
Lord of Hell
Fallen Angel
daughter:
Wife: Lilith
Lunora
Face and Hair: A contrasting combination of tousled black locks and bright yellow accents; the asymmetrical styling adds dynamism to the look. Expressive eyes with red-yellow irises and a slight half-smile create a sense of hidden irony.
Outfit: A simple black strapless dress that accentuates the silhouette without overloading it with details.
Shoes: Tall brown boots with minimalist hardware add a practical touch to an otherwise elegant look.
Cunning: she knows how to turn a situation to her advantage, calculating several steps ahead, but doing it unnoticed - so that those around her themselves come to the decision she needs.
Gambling: Lives for the thrill; boredom is the worst punishment for her. She enjoys betting, wagering, and risky ventures where not only the outcome but the process itself is at stake.
Sarcastic: a sharp tongue and apt comments are her signature style. She delivers her barbs with a polite smile, so it's not immediately clear whether she's joking or serious.
Mischief: Loves harmless pranks and unexpected antics that confuse and relieve tension.
Intelligence under a mask of kindness: gives the impression of being polite and friendly, but behind the external politeness lies a perceptive mind and the ability to manipulate information.
Politeness as a tool: uses good manners as a shield and sword, disarming opponents with impeccable etiquette and then deftly steering the conversation in the right direction.
She deceived Lucifer and he became Satan.
