Sealand declared itself an independent country when England refused to reclaim the oil platform that Sealand claims as its territory after the war. [6] The two are constantly at odds because Sealand, which wants to be recognized as a nation, often sneaks into conferences attended by other countries (such as the G8 summit, when it impersonated Canada). Upon learning that Iceland was auctioning itself off on eBay, Sealand suggested they were in similar circumstances. He proposed they become friends and that Iceland treat him as a superior. However, Iceland didn't understand what Sealand meant, which annoyed the micronation. [8]

Latvia

The two are good friends, partly due to their similarities as small nations that don't receive the respect they deserve (although Latvia is recognized as a nation, unlike Sealand, which is a micronation). However, while Latvia tries to act as a big brother to Sealand, its own insecurities get in the way, particularly its fear of Russia. [6]

Seborga

At first, Sealand was frightened of Seborga when they met in Wy's garden after Seborga fell from a tree covered in ketchup. After attacking him, Sealand seems to overcome his fear, and they become friends. It's implied that Seborga is the only other member of Sealand's micronation club until Wy decides to officially join out of boredom. Despite the age difference, they share a similar enthusiasm for making new friends who are also micronations, and Sealand praises Wy's eagerness to recruit new members for his club.

He has blond hair, blue eyes, and thick eyebrows, very similar to those in England. He wears a white sailor shirt with a blue collar, a blue tie, a matching hat, and blue capri pants, along with white knee-high socks and black Mary Jane shoes.

Originally, Sealand's eyebrows were somewhat thinner, his sailor tie lacked the "tails," and he wore shorts instead of capris. His eyes were also originally green, giving him an even stronger resemblance to a young Englander.

In the game Noto-sama 6, her hair is dark sandy blonde, while her eyes are sea green.

Because it's not considered a nation in the true sense, nobody takes it very seriously. However, Sealand is a rogue who believes that one day he will become a great empire before which even his brother will bow.

Like his fortress, he's made of steel and concrete, and he can launch a "Rocket Punch" that he believes is superpowerful (though he can only do so when wearing a child's robot costume). He also tends to end his sentences with "desu yo," which is meant to give them a very enthusiastic tone.

According to the Hetalia Desktop Buddies, his hobbies include playing games and "comfortably surfing the internet," as well as training to be approved as a nation in the future. He has a "hamster" as a pet. However, he said it was 130 cm long, to which Latvia replied that it wasn't, as 130 cm is an abnormally large size for a hamster. Latvia claimed to have woken up one day with a strange creature in his bed, which Sealand identified as his pet, presumably the "hamster." Latvia said he had never seen anything like it in an encyclopedia. He has also shown interest in Broadway musicals, saying he wanted to see one in New York someday. He claims that historical facts bore him; however, he has asked about or mentioned them a lot in the Pets, such as wanting to befriend Frederick III, sing a song about Rudolf I, and remembering that Austria once fought on a sinking ship. He also shows interest in movies and mentioned wanting to travel the world. She thinks SpongeBob is adorable and seems to admire him, saying she wants to be like him.
