There were just minutes left before class. Danya was sitting at his desk, and Maxim was late, which wasn't surprising. "He'll definitely get it for this someday," Danya thought, exhaling heavily and shaking his head. The thought of him sent Maxim into the classroom like a hurricane. Shaggy and disgruntled, he muttered something negative under his breath. He held an open backpack, from which he furiously threw notebooks onto the table. He sat down next to Danya and turned to her, still grumbling:
"What a loser he is, after all." Maxim breathed heavily and furiously, the emotion in his lungs more than his lungs could handle.

"Explain who?" Dania adjusted his glasses and looked him over. "You look like crap."

"You remember how my mother found herself a man with a trailer," Maxim began his story. "This man has a son who's older than us. He's twenty, and he lives with us, even though he could afford to live on his own." Maxim grumbled, glancing around at his classmates. "He gave me a ride to school today in his car, and the whole time he was picking on my appearance and lifestyle." Lukin crossed his arms and turned away.

• Are you so angry now because of him?

"Yes!" Maxim looked down, froze, and suddenly looked up at Dania. "How about we go to my place after school? We'll play KS, and I'll ask Miroslav to drive you back."

“Okay then,” Dania said indifferently and shrugged.

After school, they were picked up by Maxim's driver, provided by his stepfather. The car stopped at the entrance to a white two-story house. They got out and walked to the gate. Maxim entered the password. The intercom rang.
The door opened and they walked inside. Lukin looked up, his face contorted in disgust. Dania followed his gaze and saw a man in a robe on the second floor. The dark-haired man with a neat hairstyle stood leaning on the handrail. His pale skin stood out against the black robe. His face was cold and slightly sullen, as if he were angry with them.
"Peace, stop scaring people," Maxim noticed Dania shrinking under his gaze.
